Thank you so much although I’m still struggling to learn Chinese because I still face lots of difficulties. I hope I keep learning daily to get better. I learned basic Chinese (kindergarten level) at a universe for about 10 months. The tones mainly, but I can say 95% of my Chinese was learned my communicating with locals in the street. Am from Indonesia and this is very similar to us in terms of language. We have so many different tribes and cultures here with almost (legally recognized) almost 700 languages, the only thing that make us can travel or communicate in new area is the Bahasa Indonesia, similiar to Mandarin in China. One national language is very beneficial for a nation that have lots of different dialects and language. Am from West Java and I speak Sundanese and bahasa Indonesia as well as English as my 3third language.
