I used to have pretty bad social anxiety, I don't know what happened, but I overcame it tremendously over the past few years, I learned to enjoy making people laugh with my awkwardness. I stopped weighing myself and worrying about what I eat. Maybe its just getting over being a teen though. lol. Feels like a lot more than that though.

I experienced the same thing I was always very awkward and shy and I was very insecure, sensitive and emotional because of that. I met new people and they laughed at my awkwardness and it became my thing and I made myself believe I didn't care anymore what people thought of me. I loved making people laugh so that was my new identity. And now I have these huge walls around me and maybe because of my Capricorn sun, but it came that far that I am too afraid to show my real self and I've almost forgot who I am because of that. Same here I'm a libra with Taurus moon and a Taurus rising with also Saturn in aries.. Lack of guidance from my dad made me feel insecure and made me have social anxiety. With libra in Mercury I have overcame my social anxiety but I'm only open to people who are close to me otherwise it takes time for me to open up to new people. To be honest I don't know what my main purpose in life is I feel like my dad didn't help me to find a specific path in life. Thank you my brother! Thank you so much! I have battled with having a low self-esteem for a very long time. My father was denied by my grandfather. And this in turn practically made a verbal relationship between him and I nonexistent. This left me with a grudge for a long time not understanding the story of his own tribulation. Not only was he denied by his father but he was left without the nurturing of his mother. When I think about that I realize that he did his best. I learned that it wasn't his fault and I held a grudge for a long time, but I truly realize that it wasn't his fault and we have probably the best relationship that we've ever had. Today marks the first day of me being in Saturn cycle where I've been informed bye oracles and other loved ones that this will be a time of tribulation for me but a time of learning. I find that due to my chart I express myself out of spite for my father. I never want him to see me as a weak and unhappy. He did whatever he could to restrict me and tear me down because of his own unhappiness, so I resented him very early on in life! This video really opens up my eyes. Namaste :)

I have this placement too! Although I didn't have daddy issues - I can relate to the perfectionist tendencies. There's this limiting belief in relation to feeling inferior 9th House ruling beliefs, higher education, travel. Although I did attend university (graduating on time, but it took hard work aka summer school to catch up which isn't the worst since saturn in 9h likes learning) sometimes there's still that lingering feeling of inadequacy when it comes to pursuing the career I desire. I didn't believe in myself (Aries) to pursue an artistic career, as well as restrictions in my own personal beliefs (9th house) so I got an education and spent 4 years on a degree that I did not necessarily love. No regrets but its interesting how my Saturn's virtue of patience or karma played out. Was wondering if you could relate or share your story?

My dad is a positive influence, I think we lack good communication and understanding on certain levels but my mom died when I was 12 and he took over everything best he could. I think being so sheltered and cared for by my dad has made it difficult for me to be who I want to be or become. It's held me back in many ways but without my dad I don't know where I'd be after losing my mom so young. My father died when I was 9, going on 10, ironically. A month before my birthday in July (during the sign of cancer). After my dad died I restricted my self expression. You wondered why that is. Well, I look to what is in my first house, and it's my cancer asc, conjunct mars in cancer in the 12th. I have a lot of karma in my family. I feel a heavy oppressive force over my family. Before I explored this placement of mine, I caught myself being scared to express myself in fear of rejection. I always find myself being cautious about what I say and do. As far as my dad, it was harmonious when I was younger. Eventually, life happened and my father seem to have drifted away. He seemed meloncoly after my childhood. Weird. I don't really know. Saturn aries. Never had problems with my dad (mother was gone) but I've noticed that all my life, I have been averse to masculine energy in general. I can handle being around femininity, calmness, emotions, stability more than I can masculinity, hyperactivity, passions, and willfulness. My female guardian who did most of the raising was stereotypically masculine in her parenting style (discipline, heavy handed, respect/fear over loveyness, that type thing). I didn't really think that I had ego problems (I've always thought I have faith in myself and my abilities) but I remember even as a kid (starting at least as young as 12), me saying things like, "people don't want me/love me. They want/love what I can do for them." That morphed into "people don't want me, they want to use me (18)." And I just thought it was the capricorn ascendant in me but I've always validated my action and feats more than my character as well. Even the parts of my character I usually define myself with are in some way related to "do" and "can." Not really "I am, feel" or "my opinion (without hard facts and theory to back it up)"

Hi, and thank you for this video. I was born in 1968. The X Generation (the latch-key kids). The kids who's father's were not around, and had working mothers who put a lot of responsibility on them when they were were young. My Saturn is in Aries in the 7th House is conjunct Mars and the North Node. I have a Sun in Pisces in the 6th, Libra Rising, Moon in Leo in the 11th, and thank God for two good placements of Jupiter in the 11th, and Venus in the 5th (Planetary Joys). My natural father died by suicide when I was six. My stepfather was phytologically abusive. He attempted suicide but was not successful, although he eventually died of organ failure, and his body simply waisted away until he was literally all skin and bones. He died in 2000. I married when I was 30 years old to a man who is 13 years my senior. Early on there were a lot of struggles (infidelity on his part), but as of two days ago we celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary. But he and I both have Jupiter in Leo. We went through therapy together and we are closer than we have ever been. Saturn in the 7th might bring on marriage later on in life, in my case it could also bring on unhappy marriage in the beginning of the union that only blossoms over time.

@@TorTheWeirdo I have this planetary position (western astrology) and is opposing my saturn. The way that I handle this energy is by being STRICT. What I mean by "strict" is to be hard core with people, set very high standards, be very detached, and push yourself very hard to be assertive and to smile less (show a strict facial expression towards people), but at the time, be kind and humble. I have started doing all of that and this kind of remedy seems to help lessen the negative effect of saturn in aries. Also, do not take nonsense from anyone, is what I do.

Yea my father died when I was 2 years old and I've rejected any male figure that has tried to take on that role, that I deem unworthy. As in guys my mom has dated throughout the years and her husband.

My Dad loved us Very much. he was sometimes abusive. My mother broke his heart, she was awful to him she used us kids against him. He eventually became a alcohlic had died at 42 years old. My mother on the other hand Was just not avaiable. She was to busy being a single woman with lots of relationships. She worked long hours and just wasn't there for us but if I did something wrong shed be right there to criticize me. When I bought my second home when my family was growing it was a forcloser and needed tlc. Husband and I were so proud. I asked my mother to come and see it. When she walked in you could see the disgust in her eyes. she proceeded to make negative comments about the house. At that moment I realize nothing I do would make her proud. From then on I became a people pleaser. After 30 years I'm finally not trying to please anyone but myself. It wrecked my life. Time to move on.

:( My dad was a soldier, that i look up to. He's the ultimate father figure. Amazing. He taught me about life and everything, very philosophical. i love him. I respect him, everybody does. He's everybody's favorite. My parents were very harmonious really. But one day he just changed, i dont know how, everything just happened so fast, he cheated and leave everything behind. He hated my mom because some woman with her black magic did that to him. It sounds weird but im not making this up. Its just not him anymore. and since that day i lose some part of myself trying to cope with life. My mom find someone else of course which im happy for her. I admire her for being really strong trying to keep up with my dad's bs. But i love him still, i forgive him. Nothing will ever replace my dad. Its very complex.
