Interesting! Good point about name "microtonal guitar". For people who are unfamiliar with it, microtonal term is something weird and dissonant so they just dont want to know anything about. Wish your guitar will be used more for just intonation in various popular genres of music. Modern technolgies also should be handy too, to make it more accessible for a larger auditory , wonder what happened with your "automatic microtonal guitar" project.
