At 7:26 when Barr goes up to adjust his tie: that's dead-giveaway body-language cue for nervousness/anxiety/fear/emotional-discomfort/vulnerability. It means Barr knew the consequences of getting caught in his lie.

It doesn't definitively "mean" that, but it is strongly suggestive of it. Body language and deception are a lot more nuanced than your description, and not quite as directly interpretable as your comment suggests. I do think you're correct in this case, but be very careful of looking at just one isolated clue and drawing a conclusion from it. You should always look for at least 3 red flags that point to the same thing (and there were a lot of them in his testimony), otherwise you can end up crucifying an innocent person.

Not only did she insist on five-page essays for every unit in class, but she told us that they had to be five pages exactly. She told us the font and font size that we had to use and said that she had already counted how many lines of that font and font size would fit on a standard sheet of paper, so she would count the lines on our papers to make sure that we didn't mess with the line spacing, and she would even measure the margins to make sure that we didn't change those, either. She was insistent: five pages exactly, not one line more or less. Someday, when I finally crack and lose my mind, one of the random, crazy things that I'll tell the doctors in the asylum is "Ms. Thornton wants EXACTLY FIVE pages!" I'll repeat it over and over, and they won't have a clue what it means. Ten pages was often the minimum that I had to do for final projects for my honors classes each semester, especially Ms. Thornton. I don't recall a class where anyone set a maximum number of pages. I was a history major, and that meant constant reading, writing, and research. Barr is a weakling and an underachiever.

You can only charge people you truly believe that a jury is likely to convict, whether you think they're guilty or not, otherwise you're being a bad steward of The People's tax revenue. As an example of bad stewards of tax revenue, look at the 50+ investigations Republicans ran against Hillary over Benghazi that all turned up no wrongdoing on her part. Four should have been adequate, but no, they couldn't live with just being wrong, they had to double down on being stupid. With criminal charges, you can conduct as many investigations as you want, but you only get to actually try someone once. If you lose that one shot, it's game over forever until/unless they commit another chargeable offense. And if you lose one case against a defendant, it's a lot harder to win the next case against them because you're perceived as having a bias against them. Look at the Cosby case for example. People had been making accusations against him since the 1970s, but since people didn't take them seriously back then, and since they just kept stacking up, by the time it was clear he was guilty, it was a very hard battle to actually win a conviction against him. But the good part about that is that it makes her a stronger opponent having had to live and function in that world. It's part of what's made her so awesome.
