The ordinary citizen is so helpless against them, so it's not just "Justice for Magnitsky" act, it's justice for all of us Russians who in essence are hostages of Putin's reign.

He was an accountant and a tax attorney aka lawyer. Magnitsky was an auditor at the Moscow law firm Firestone Duncan, working for its owner, Jamison Firestone. He worked with the firms client Hermitage Capital Management (Browder) they are an investment advisory firm that was accused of tax evasion and tax fraud by the Russian Interior Ministry.

Excellent high- spoken like a truly good heart who embraces equanimity and has profound compassion for all beings. It is "know not what they do" BUT there is a tightrope walk in this world in which you have to protect yourself and others from these people- they are dangerous and don't care if they harm others on their way to the "top" they are narcissists and will crush at first chance. So keep a healthy distance. I know because have tried to help them and they have hurt me badly. I love and feel compassion for them from a distance. But if you can hold that wide view you expressed then you will always be fine. Your compassion will protect you. Look after those who are vulnerable will you? If you do that then you can safely call yourself Jesus' sibling and hat you know Jesus and he is you. You are well within your right then to think that way. I saw Jesus in your comment and am glad for it. forgiveness does anything but make the world go round. It ceases the go around. It is liberating. Forgiveness is the way to eternal bliss both in this life and hereafter. Good job and good job for your friend. "Love thy neighbor as thyself" love one another- they are another one of you.
