Absolutely gorgeous! Sweet William! It's hard to describe what this song sounds like to me. If I had to say though, it would probably be 'acceptance'. Negative things happen in life all the time, and this songs sounds like accepting the fact that they happened and trying to move on, despite the scars they left behind.

What a beautiful interpretation! I’ve thought of this as trying to reach for something unachievable. When the melody hits the higher notes, it’s like reaching for you’re dreams. And when it goes back down, realistic outcome hits. The track being a waltz also makes it feel more controlled like William is trying to maintain his perfect, noble persona. It’s not until the music crescendos where his true feelings are released. But alas, he needs to keep his gentlemanly demeanor, and goes back to being calm and well-mannered.
