Nice to hear Shatner giving credit where it's due. Star Trek: The Motion Picture might not feel like Star Trek to some fans of the original series, but it's the first Star Trek story that I got to see, start to finish, and it blew my young mind away. I was ten years old, and fresh off Star Wars, but by then I'd also seen the re-release of 2001: a Space Odyssey, and The Motion Picture was exactly the kind of science fiction I wanted to see more of, more about ideas and less about action.

okay, i know that it isn't a mathemathics competition, But how does he come from u lose one hour a day to 7-8 days you lose a day????

he obviously is referring to a working day not a 24 hr day - average working day is 8 hours
