In the case of someone whose name I will not say, she has no idea what those two words mean. As class, she never had it, never will. Now Catherine our beautiful Princess Of Wales, she oozes it. That smile of hers lights up the whole world, I got so emotional seeing her at the tennis tournament, she was absolutely stunning. Had it been the other one showing those shark teeth, one would have heard the theme from jaws. I've said that a few times, but each time she does that Rictus grin that is all I hear. She always manages to hone in right where the camera is, never misses a beat. They give me the shivers, the eyes are the windows to your soul and I wonder if she has one.

Well, if true seems William thinks they should be done away with. Bowing is a sign of respect and trying to destroy others having respect for other people isn't going to end up well. Look at the Markles to see what happens when you are constantly told you are the equal of others and others should respect you as a result, didn't turn out very well for either of them (in fact it ruined them, and both parents should be ashamed though one is gone and I don't think the other realises he's to blame even now) and William needs to look hard at his brother and sister-in-law and see where that attitude leads.

I love seeing the Royals being animated. To show they are human also. As for the bowing and curtsying, I think it is a sign of respect for the Royals and people should keep doing it. The Royals work hard, and bowing or curtsying just would show that people appreciate what they do.

American here. Since we don't curtsey over here, I think bowing/curtseying to royalty is all part of the allure. If William doesn't want to "push the matter", I am fine with it. Often men simply nod their head rather than bow from the hips. For women, a curtsy, originally designed for women in long, flowing skirts, can be awkward if not done correctly or if the person is elderly, weak or is wearing the wrong attire (tight skirt, pants, etc.). I think woman either bowing or curtsying is sufficiently modern; yet respectful.

I have actually seen video of the Queen showing feelings and even glee at sporting events. Of course horsing events where she had flesh in the game, but I recall a certain Braemar games where she got quite excited. She knew to have a stiff upper lip when it was needed, she did not lead with her heart on her sleeve, good leaders dont. William has been tested many times and has shown he can do this. I have no real feelings about the curtsy thing, but then I’m from Canada, however I trust the Prince will find the right balance. The Queen was very wise and let’s not forget she trained him herself. I am certain he discussed these ideas with her over the years, and with his father. Trust him.

To show respect to everyone. But I would find it very cumbersome and time consuming if the employees in other countries would be forced to do the same. I think showing respect is relevant. Yet, people do become excited and forget. William is finding ways to help people relax.

I think William is being very wise in leaving it to everyone to courtsey/bow or not. The great majority of us will continue to offer this mark of respect.

Neil, time is changing. The late Queen had her way now it’s time for KC3 and William. You can show respect with out bowing.

I’m for the curtsey and the bowing it shows a mark of respect which has been gained through the years and is up to William to carry on the work that his ancestors have before him 😊

I fully agree with the views of late Queen Elizabeth. There is absolutely no need for excessive relateability.
