It's true about being ready up here in the mountains of NC we had a small fire of 100 acres burning a week ago and it was over 2000 as of the day before yesterday and wasn't contained at all so far it's been all forestry land so no loss of homes yet. it did finally start raining yesterday so hopefully, it helped. It's always good to be as ready as you can be and tips like yours help you never know what you might be forgetting. Thanks, Will I've posted enough on this one :)

Another ace kit, William. I live in North Idaho, so my kit changes for winter vs summer. Road flares are dirt cheap and a smart item. They don’t take up any space and they have multiple functions. Likewise, having disposable hand warmers are great because they can fit in your gloves or shoes. You get stranded out here in the winter where there are drifts up to 4+ feet and patchy cell service it pays to have warm implements. Sand / shovel also smart. I also have a swagman roll and 2 wool blankets, toilet paper, and water in an insulated container so it can’t freeze when we’re in single digit temps. Could go on and on, but your kit is organized, stocked, and on the level. I love that collapsible fire Bellow!

Thank you, great suggestions and kit items. I have thought about road flares and they are a great item for instant fire.

I chuckled at how stupidly overpriced the yeti bucket was but then ended up buying one for ice fishing cause why not. Lol. That thing has been put through serious abuse for years now. And yes, I probably could have got away with using a few different Home Depot buckets for cheaper. However, I wouldn’t have the awesome handle (much better than the Home Depot wire that you will eventually be grabbing), the additional space, strength for my butt sitting on it, rubber bottom to prevent it sliding all over the place. It’s small comfort of life changes but if your going to dedicate a Home Depot bucket to one single thing that you plan to use for as long as it will last, you can do no better than the yeti bucket. Mine is not broken and shows no sign that it will break any time soon. Also a huge fan of the victorinox spiritx but I truly have used multipliers in desperate situations and my only real grief with it is nothing replaces a spring loaded plier. Ironically, only the cheaper multiplier tools even feature spring loaded functionality but that is the feature that makes a pliers a one handed tool. Not just that you can flip it open like the leatherman arc or free series.

That kit is awesome. My problem is trying to remember where everything is in what kit. Fun getting old.

I love my Yeti coolers but For truck camping, I did switch to an ICECO fridge/freezer and it's nice not having to get ice. Don't get me wrong my Yeti's still have their place and are still used. I've always been a buy once cry once I like well-built stuff that last and you're not replacing it constantly. I didn't know they had buckets so looks like I'll be getting one. Everytime I watch your channel it costs me :)

I use yeti coolers for boats but truck I use a fridge and Jackery battery pack.
@JR-546510 ай бұрын
Mine is hooked up to a Jackery also it charges as I drive and the Jackery takes over when I turn the truck off. I do have solar panels if I'm parked for a few days.@@wcknives

Statistics say, these kit videos are popular because most folks don’t have a kit to begin with. There is a lot of comparison between the ones who live at the dollar tree, on the another side of that. Then there are those who complain about your yeti bucket because they compare their lives with everyone else.. Then there’s those people who have multiple kits, given their situation who appreciate other people thought process and try to improve if needed in their own kits…. One of these days soon or later, You tube and the internet won’t be able to be accessed and everyone’s mentality will change dramatically and kits are going to be the last thing most people will be concerned about….

Don't know if it's just me having this problem but I just wanted to let you know, for the past few months none of your videos will play without stopping multiple times. May just be me, or my device ( we are both old) . Are any other viewers having this problem?
