Hi William, I came across your channel just a few days ago and I just wanted to congratulate and say thank you!! I do follow many other channels but unfortunately only a few really have the aim to share their knowledge, so their videos although interesting always aim to sell a course etc...nothing wrong with that but for whoever is a beginner it makes such a difference to have tutorials like yours...I admire your journey, knowledge, and your willingness to share what you know. I think you should think of putting together a course(s) for Davinci (if you are not already doing so)!! So thank you soooo much!

Thanks so much for your comments. It really helps to know that people are enjoying and learning from the content I am making. Another excellent tutorial. Thank you! It solves my problem on how to animate parts of a text node separately very nicely. It also shows that I still have some difficulties with understanding the underlying workflow/processing order of merge-nodes in Fusion. ☺️
@WilliamJusticeMedia4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback... It does take a bit to learn how fusion works. Just setting up some animations and playing with the different options helps you learn.
@mnomadvfx2 жыл бұрын
The main thing to learn with merge nodes is which input is the background and which is the foreground. The background is the image plane it starts with and the foreground is the node/object being merged onto it. Consequently the thing being moved around when you alter the position of the merge node is the object piped into the foreground input.

Nice one William. Though you could have saved yourself from all that keyframe dragging by just dropping in a "TimeSpeed" node on each of the paint flows and setting the required delay.
@WilliamJusticeMedia4 жыл бұрын
Hey Martin. Thanks for the comments. Yup.. definitely could have used the timeSpeed. I thought about trying it... Probably would have worked but I had done some other projects where I used quite a few of them in a fusion composition and things did not work well. I probably have a mental block on the timeSpeed node. But it would make things easier... Appreciate your feedback.

Hi William! I don't understand english very well. So I follow the images. But at my work the letter "J" Disapear when it run around "W" and "ustice" d'ont appear whem the mask "rectangle2" run to the right...
@WilliamJusticeMedia4 жыл бұрын
Hi Marcio, Not sure exactly what your issue may be, but it sounds like something is wrong with the way your masking is setup. I would check your masking to see if that fixes the problem. Also for the "ustice" that part is hidden by masking in the beginning so you need to make sure you animate the text and masks so it is revealed. Hope that helps!

Wiiliam, I'm really intrested in motion design and graphics, but is Davinci Resolve a good program for profesional needs and work? Can I find work in the future, if I'll continue my progress in Davinci Resolve, or should I go to After Effects?
