Good show. Use the big egg shell as a scooper next time to get the small pieces. The small pieces won’t run from the shell like they do your fingers. Nice salmon, our season is getting ready to take off pretty quick. Good to see a lad out with Dad learning and doing. Thanks for having a nice clean channel that I can watch with the grandkids.

Another great video William, Great you are spending time with your son. When I was your age me and my son would do a lot of things together, catch salmon like you and your son before the moratorium here on the Island. Your videos make me go back to my youth. Keep them coming.

They're like that is so cool. So anyway, I do like your KZbin channel and it's I'm following you on the alone right now. It's hard to recognize you without a beard, but it is so cool.Thank you

For a long video it sure passed quickly. Loved the history and the "lessons" that you were showing young Will. Seeing him on the rock ledges by the salmon net gave me the jitters. I liked the watch your feet around the ten minute mark. Ditto with the fingers when docking. It all seems simple but things can go to heck in a hurry. What nutrient is put into the garden fom the mussel shells? Calcium/lime? Thanks for the video.

What part of the blackberry bush do you use to smoke. How long do you smoke it for?
@Biglandtrapper3 ай бұрын

Hi William, Do you crush the mussel shells or just put them in the soil? How long does it take for them to break down?
@Biglandtrapper3 ай бұрын
Yes something you can actually scoop them up already crushed, which we call gris. Good for a few years, some I don’t crush and put around trees like mulch. I use other types of shells for thus as well.

@Biglandtrapper3 ай бұрын
@@ottoosmers9273 No but quiet a few years back they introduced them in a Bay just to the North of us. The lobsters grew very large but the water temp was to cold for the eggs to survive. As water temps warm up maybe they will slowly migrate further North, there is a different crab species that has already done so.
