Thanks for doing these videos, super well timed. We have Horseshoe Slabs, the black CNC trails and Prospector on our near-term ride list, but they'll be progression pushes for us.

I really enjoyed the slow instructional component to this video showing different lines and speaking plainly about technique. Very useful for intermediate riders like me. I would love to see a similar video for Special K. I can't figure out how to ride the top section.

You're welcome and thx for watching. I haven't ridden Special K yet so I'll add it to my list for this summer.

Ride the f*ck on brother. I'll definitely check out the horseshoe area the next time I'm down, I really want to start working on steeper tech so it sounds like a great place to start!

Hi Will, love the videos! I noticed you are now running a coil on your firebird, I’m currently running the stock float x2 but have had the thought of a coil nibbling at me for a little while 😳. Could you give me your thoughts/feedback on the swap? 🤔 kind regards, Rihanne (UK)x

The change to a coil shock has been the best upgrade I've made. Very noticeable difference in rough terrain. Small bump compliance is much better. I put a progressive coil on. Also have a linear but haven't tried it yet. For the CC Kitsuma in particular, the trail mode is stiffer than than the climb node on the x2. The full lock out on the Kitsuma is nice for climbing roads. Overall, it was certainly worth the upgrade.

You see William, next time you post a “Gnar” trail video I’m now going to think it isn’t all that “Gnar” because you overused the term “Gnar” on Canmore trails…that aren’t “Gnar”.

@@WilltoRide Gotcha, so when you ride Squamish or “Whistnar” it’ll be part of the “Super-Ultra-actual-Gnar” series?
