Beautiful as always Luke, thanks for sharing. Tough hike on such a hot day. I can't believe you only brought two litres of water with you. Impressive.

Thanks Mike! I should have brought more water, but 2L was all the container capacity I had at the time, so there's a lesson in that.

Great video, Luke! You've inspired me to get out for more hikes in BC. Just got back this weekend from doing the Howe Sound Crest Trail. Was very tough but totally worth it. Keep up the awesome videos. Thank-you!

Luke hi from Calgary. Looked like a gut buster in places particularly the last half but well worth it given the views. Thanks for sharing.

Always love how you start to enter into the mountains as you get into Chilliwack. My heart belongs in Hope. Have you hiked there before?
@lifeofluke Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I agree! I have hiked a bit near Yale, but not actually in Hope itself.

Great video as always. If you ever do another hike out in the Fraser Valley, check out Spencer’s Peak. It’s right on the border. Tomyhoi and Canadian Border peak look amazing!

Hey Luke, do you think there is flat spots at the summit to set up camp?
@lifeofluke8 ай бұрын
Yeah, from what I remember there's room for a tent at the top. Keep in mind though, no water.

A Canadian Pacific Airlines Lockheed Loadstar crashed on that peak in December 1942 killing all 13 passengers. The wreckage is still there as well as a bronze plaque installed by the airline in 1943 when the aircraft was finally found 6 months after the crash. This crash isn't remembered as much as the Mount Slesse TCA Northstar crash on Dec 9 1956 which killed all 62 onboard. Both aircraft were off course and flying in blinding blizzard and plane icing conditions.
