On this day in 1973 {October 6th} Willie Hutch performed "Brother's Gonna Work It Out" on the late Dick Clark's American Bandstand... Five months earlier on May 19th it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #67 and spent 10 weeks on the Top 100... It reached #18 on Billboard's R&B chart... He co-wrote the Jackson 5's #1 hit record "I'll Be There"... Willie Hutch passed away on September 19th, 2005 at age 60... R.I.P. Mr. Hutch and Mr. Clark...

"Don't give him no peace sign if you don't mean it from your heart, united we can get over, but yet we're still apart" This is too prophetic and still reign true in our dying community of today. I absolutely love this song, It's 2018 and Willie still reigns.

The have & the have nots, the powerful & the weak, the educated & the ignorant. this is the reality we all live in. Dope, alcohol & money it’s all an addiction. You can’t have one without the other. It’s the game we all choose to play. Are we working it out? Or making it worse? Because in the end we’re all faced with the same fate....

Damion Baldwin If fact if you think about it this generation doesn't have music. When you take away the human element from us DJ's you get shit, shit and more shit. Now the equipment dictates what you play when it used to be humans dictating the music. All creativity is lost and the only thing that remains is greed. Autotune anyone?
