The original footage of the Wigan Casino is the Best and shows you how fit the working class were back then, these people worked on their feet all day and thought nothing of dancing at an all-nighter and dancing athletically to the Best Tunes🎼🎤🎺🥁🎹🎸 We will never see their like again, Bless Them 🥰🫶🏼💞

I now live in London, but Born and bred in the North. I was privileged to go to Wigan Casino from 73 through 76. I was very lucky to have older brothers who also loved Soul music. Happily being spoon fed Soul music growing up I was already in love with the music and the Artists. When I got to the age where I could head out to Wigan casino with my older brother. My life would never be the same. . My music is and always will be Soul music It made my heart and mind fly. Then Wigan lifted my Soul to a higher place. The friends I made there I will never forget. The music I heard there will live in my heart till the day I go out into the Universe. To every human that loves Soul Music. Keep the Faith! Love, light and equality for all. Always. XXX

hardakml we didn't realise how fit and supple we were back then. bleddy hell I'm soooo stiff nowadays. a life time in the building trade don't help none. I've recently been toying with the idea of going to a few soul nights, as they're gaining popularity here in a pretty big way. I should go shouldn't I? ease my way back into it!!! probably have to be stretchered off after the first ten minutes, lol!!!

I am in this vid at 58 seconds, red waistcoat at the back. This tune has strategic "claps", so can see this is not the original track being danced too in the film. When it was played at Wigan, it was a real "stomper"; you could feel the whole place shake.
@uppyraptor492 жыл бұрын
The video is mixture of venues so it cant be original otherwise the sound would be crap!
