Loretta Lynn, Bobby Bare, Bill Anderson, Charley Pride, Willie Nelson. 4 of them are 50s artists, Charley Pride is the only one not, and he came out in the early 60s. All five of them released a brand new album in the last year and a half. Charley Pride is almost 85 and sounds the best currently. Bobby Bare is a close second, then Bill Anderson, then Willie, then Loretta. Before the stroke, Loretta was at the very top of the list. So there are 5 artists who go back 55+ years still touring and making new music.

David Allen Coe had a couple of songs I've liked but to me he really hasn't attained the kind of status of a Willie or a Waylon or a Johnny or a Kris but at the very least there should be something said for long jevitty
