Remember when singers had there own sound , played instruments and wrote songs. I miss those days.

Willie Nelson transcended country his music is Willie Nelson. From way back he never gave a bad or hater vibe u always felt this is one cool cat. This w Kenny is a gift and the timing couldnt fit better for me. That bass. RIP Gambler. Sorely missed. This was nothing short of pure beauty.

RIP Kenny Rogers! Very talented musician/singer. Not sure when this duet was sung but it's great and Kenny can really play the bass! I think he pretty well lived life to the fullest after his childhood.

Thank Mr Willie Nelson for giving the song writing credits to the writer mr. Irving Berlin the reason why I'm saying this is because when Whitney Houston was performing I Will Always Love You she never gave the song writing credits to Miss Dolly Parton and I tell you mister Willie Nelson you've got one hell of a voice and I tell you want you gone there will never ever be another like you you have a very strong powerful voice that cannot be duplicated

Apparently Kenny Rogers was a really accomplished Jazz Bassist. I know he played on Oliver Nelson's classic album "Stolen Moments". And with the lineup that album had, just to be listed ...they weren't hiring chopped liver. I'd liked to have heard more of that.
