Mr. Watson is a soulful story teller, an old school troubadour. I turn friends who think they don't like folk on to Willie. Gets them every time. Thanks for posting.

I'll be following Willy till we're both old and grey. First saw him supporting Gillian Welch with OCMS in Manchester, England when I was 14. Seen him numerous times since, including twice as a solo artist when he was over before the pandemic. Never disappoints!

So hauntingly beautiful. He co-wrote this. My favorite rendition to date.

@@bumpusjones2289 Don't know which other member he wrote it with, but Old Crow Medicine Show originally released this song when Willie was with them.

You are obviously not a musician Chris. Talent is relative and can't be measured. Willie and Ketch are both wonderful musicians and songwriters and singers. They are just different. If you prefer Ketch's voice and his style of songwriting that is cool. I personally think Willie songs are less upbeat and have a deeper feeling than Ketch's but I wouldn't describe him as more or less talented. A musician follows his own muse. Willie is following his.

The most memorable songs are from Willie. And, I've never seen Ketch play anything like this on his own. Both are great. But, I'll take Willie for the long haul.

Like that is relevant, I found way more passion and grace in Watson singing than in Ketch, yet, that don't change the fact I found both of them great musicians, talented musicians..
