I didn't enable the firewall when I ran the wizard, and now have the router setup for the full network but want to enable the firewall... what's the best way to enable it now?

So I have 2 edgerouter lite-3s and an old netgear nighthawk router. I'm setting up a home lab with them. I am currently having trouble getting the end devices on the edgerouter to ping the wireless router itself. Is it possible to connect a wireless router to and edgerouter, or would I have to turn the wireless router into an AP? I want to avoid turning the router into an AP.

I have a Odd question. Since covid_19 I am working at home. one of the firms I work with reduced their staff by 50 percent as cost saving and is seeking to drop aws costs. ( this is a small business Totally staff was like 30 people ) They have build three servers sites and are installing edge routers. Currently at all location's. They have a Orbi mesh net and in front of the orbi is a Bitdefender hardware firewall and it has worked a long time. NO ONE wants to change it it is a class C net work and is just used for office. The servers will use the same net work connection and they want those on as a Class A net work. No one wants to rebuild the routing tables on the Orbi net work. I know I already stated this but it is a major bone of contention. They want to just leave it. Is it possible to set One Port to Class A set the second port to Class C and share the net work connection. The class C network port to act like a switch. I am a buddy with the Owner and I am not well versed in networking. He is a Business owner. Just checking as a favor. my guess is that you have to make the orbi's access point and place in bridge mode. ( I am a old geezer and have not kept on this stuff ) The Coders are telling him it is possible but I am always up for verify before U do it

Just a quick question about the settings. Im doing a router swap from Asus to Ubiguiti EP-4 and pluggin in Asus Wifi router as access point and main data router. So how do i configure the Edgerouter and Asus box so that i can remote connect both using browser and keep the Edgerouter as master firewall / internet manager? Thanks in advance.

How would you block a group of known 'nasty' IPs such as those on AbuseIPDB? And keep it refreshed? I'm guessing it would need a script. Any ideas how?

hi nice vid....i was looking at edgerouter 6 and edgerouter 10, but not sure which if either of those or i should look at others to get. so i have 5 internal network and 5 external ip addresses. which router is best option for me to have all 5 internal networks nat to the 5 external ip addresses ? thank you in advance.

Hi Willie, love your videos! Suggestion: I have an IpSec VPN to pfSense, working great However, I cannot (and looking at google I am not the only one) cannot get simple 'route all traffic over the VPN' to work. Basically, route all traffic behind one Edgerouter Lite to another to go out over the Internet. A video would be great!
