What freed me from divorce is knowing that while the Bible says, “What God puts together, no man can separate”. Well, God didn’t put a lot of these relationships together. A lot of us tried to force our will on God or we chose before knowing our God given assignment/purpose.

Something that might not be thought in the church is, yes God hates divorce, but not the people involved. For whoever needed to hear that, know that the Father still sees you and loves you beyond your present!
@rknihay
@rknihay 4 ай бұрын
Not entirely true. We have to remember that GOD is a FATHER FIRST. If you are a parent you'd understand. This is the very reason when people divorce men or women never thrive again, lose everything and everyone and which is also why some men try to move on and their dicks don't work. You can't hurt someone's child and think you'll get off scott free all the time 🤷🏿‍♀️. God doesn't want to despise a man forever but a curse can't stand without a cause and a reason a lot of people stay in stuff longer than they should is because they didn't apologize to their father or the person they hurt to make it right.

@@rknihay Based on the context of your response, it seems there is some hurt that still needs to be healed. My point was that no matter what the context of your marriage is or is not, God still see you beyond the situation because of his unlimited grace and mercy. Some people feel that if their marriage failed, then they failed God, and that is a lie. Society puts pressure on people that God never intended for it to be.

Laterras’ transparency is unmatched!! More people need to work to live in that transparency…even if he/she does not choose marriage. Marriage is not death and it’s not for everyone. Marriage is what you make of it…ESPECIALLY if you are connected to YOUR purpose partner…IT CAN BE FREE AND REWARDING!!! LOVE IN MARRIAGE SHOULD GO VIRAL and not cheating and games. It’s time!! Another blessed episode Willie!!

As a divorced mom of kids 4 and older, I resonated most to Willie encouraging others to allow your kids to see you at your happiest moments. I truly desire for my kids to see and feel their mother happy. Because for so long all they saw was unhappy tears. Even on the days of being tired from working hard, the tears they see today is happier than they were 2 years ago. Thanks for the motivation!

Don’t let loneliness or being alone make a decision on your emotions!! Wow powerful Willie Moore Jr. I am a divorced Mother of two children. My son is 15 and my daughter 11. They both told me mom we are good you don’t need to talk to anyone LOL. That’s because it’s peace here and they see and know that. But God will send someone for me one day and my children will accept because they know that person will be my purpose partner!! Great episode by the way. "Divorcing with grace". This comment touched my heart and reminded me how much I've matured. When I divorced this was my #1 priority because I wanted to show my kids that just because their parents weren't together didn't mean we had to be enemies. I needed them to see that I was at peace, happy and hopeful for the future. I am determined to wait on God and show my kids that marriage can be a beautiful thing when God is at the center of it! Thank you for your transparency! I thought I was the only person on earth that felt like God gave me peace about moving on in order to thrive!

I appreciate Laterras's honesty. When Willie asked him who he is when he's not being someone's hero, I was able to put one of my thoughts about him into words. I think he's so analytical and focused that he may take some of the spontaneity out of his encounters. He projects what he thinks and wants when he speaks - like he's teaching. But I wonder if he allows himself to relax in someone else's company, and to receive their energy in return.

For him to start to get emotional and be honest and say he truly can’t answer that yet because he’s still trying to figure that out. I have been watching a lot of his videos recently and I’ve truly never heard of him until about a year ago. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a man I can say I actually admire because of their self awareness and honesty and transparency. You two Men are True Gentlemen. I Appreciate the conversation and the sheer revelation. I am a 54 year old woman with a life filled with brokenness. I was abandoned at five years old by the love of my life....my father. He had to leave my mother and seek a divorce because of the toxicity. At five, I thought that it was my fault. I rode his foot and wrapped my arms around his leg as I begged him to stay. I promised him that I would be good, but it didn't matter. Fast forward to today; it is sad to say that no matter how good of a woman I am or have been, I have been abandoned by Every male in my life since then. I have chosen to be single and abstinent for about five years. I have isolated myself pretending that this is safe and what's best for me. Any advice or nuggets of wisdom for me?

I absolutely adore Willie Moore Jr! This was a great episode because two of my favorite people were together. The entire show resonated with me, but the part that I had to rewind back was when Willie said, “you’re going to live to see it, and you’re going to wait, and not outrun the pace of God’s grace”. Thank you for that! I am patiently waiting.

What stood out to me was that Laterras is not giving up on love, he still looking for that special woman to share his safe space. I am single and I want to give up on love. ❤well done Wille Moore Jr.

When Willie Moore Jr asked Laterras, who is Laterras outside of being everybody's hero? I felt that personally!! I have been everybody's hero and now I'm left with figuring it out. I'm on a journey. This interview is definitely hitting home

That was the best explanation of "2 can chase 10K!" --- 'If one can chase 1K and 2 should be 2K, how does it become 10K? GRACE!! Grace [5] x's our 2K equals 10K! '😵 #wonderful

What is not talked about much is that as believers we must fast and pray continuously. Most don’t fast to break generational curses or to get confirmation from God regarding who their spouse is, their decisions, career choices, etc. Pastor Kevin LA Ewing breaks this down extensively using scriptures and not his opinion. Be encouraged that all things work together for our good: the good, the bad, and the indifferent. It is in our darkest moments that the Lord reroutes us to the original destiny and purpose he has for us. Whatever we experience is never just for us, but to help with others who are struggling with what we ourselves have overcome. Be blessed.

I swear Laterras is the male version of me. Our lives are so much the same I feel like I’m listening to myself! That gem he dropped~ Let your character outlive their lie snatched all my edges! I remember when I was going through my divorce I heard all types of mess about me that was noise coming from my ex husband I never stopped 1 time to clear any of it up. FFWD 9yrs later my character still standing on business against those lies and the world sees it 🙏🏾🙌🏾👏🏾 thank you Lord

1……This episode is definitely touched me, especially when he said that his dad was in the home but wasn’t there. My dad was a very good provider but he wasn’t there emotionally. He was a workaholic. I wish he would have shared the things that girls need to know about relationships and what men need & want. My parents divorced after 20 years of marriage. My 2 sisters and I have been married and divorced 😢

Man, I'm in awe of this podcast. You guys touched on so much! It was truly a blessing to watch! Both of you keep doing what you are doing. You have definitely encouraged me. I had to do a grace divorce as well. And my family thought that I was not thinking correctly. But I knew when God told me to not look at my marriage as being a marriage. And I messed up by telling my family, but it didn't stop me from moving on. I just wished I wouldn't have put that pressure on myself. They were trying to convince me otherwise. Only God knows what’s best for you! ❤❤

I'm enjoying my season of growth. An how God is revealing me to me. I'm learning why certain people are in my path. And Laterras, like many others, have helped me unpack my emotions by his willingness to share his journey unselfishly. After 15 plus years, my ex expressed that he never saw me cry. I never knew the importance of tears being another form of communication and transformation through unspoken prayers to heavens ears.Thank you, Kings for you honesty and vulnerability. I'm learning to embrace forgiveness and my healing journey. ❤️🙏🏼

@user-uq9yd1hn2z Absolutely! The purpose of the healing journey is to get to the root cause and stop treating the symptoms. Of all the unhealed emotions caused by miss diagnoses, symptoms which contributes to more self prescribed pitfalls. It's worth embracing temporary discomfort for permanent peace.❤️🙏🏼

Thank you GENTLEMEN!! These honest, transparent conversations WARM my heart and soul… and ultimately fan the flame of HOPE that Abba indeed has prepared me for My King AND Him for Me. My nuggets: -10,000 to flight. Power of 5!! (hidden under God’s Grace the addition of TWO is multiplied by FIVE). -husband/wife = PURPOSE PARTNER -“I’m trying to TOLD you…” - reminder: the Vengeance IS the LORDs… and the lies being told will NOT stand. What looks like ‘delay’ does not mean forgotten. HE is mine and I AM HIS. Abba won’t keep allowing the dirt and lies. -RADICAL transparency!!!!!!!
