The reason Joelinton is now a CM is we played Norwich at home and Clark got sent off We obviously had to play defensive the rest of the game and Eddie Howe was impressed with how good Joes tactical understanding was, moved to midfield the next game and the rest speaks for itself On that point that wasn't the first game we had won

Joelinton moved from ST to midfield because he was never a ST, Bruce played him there purely because he saw a 6ft+ powerhouse “target man”. At hoffenheim, Joelinton was a link player, dropping into midfield or playing off the left.
