Will is so great at storytelling, I thought I'd eaten the wellington with them

Exactly! I can taste it right now dude

You know technically why listeners got that essential feeling of immediacy, of being there as it happened? Will is extrenely good at shifting tenses. If you stay entirely in thr past tense..you lose that immediacy. He shifts beautifully.

Dining at a seriously fine dining establishment as a chill person or group is a wild AF experience and I’m glad you captured it in a way I cannot. It’s so difficult to explain. If you ever find yourself dining at the Setai in Miami Beach, ask for Megan but only if you’re going to tip her incredibly well +40%. She’s incredible.

Idk if it's just me, but everytime I ask an odd request at a fancy restaurant, I always get the same thing. "The Chef has never approved a request as such. I will try my best to convince him." After multiple times of our waitor convincing the chef we finally get the request. Tbh it makes dining more dramatic. Lol

Pro tip: If the beef wellington costs 130$+ then the 'free food' they keep bringing out isn't free. Even if its Wagyu restaurants that buy bulk get as high as a 60% discount with the cheapest Wagyu tenderloin I could find priced at about the same as this wellington. If its NOT Wagyu you paid probably 300-400% markup.
