I know this video is a bit older, but I’m looking at these two. I had low supply with my son, so I’m preparing for the possibility of it this time. I’m hoping for a wearable that I can wear on one side while I nurse with an SNS on the other side. Which would you recommend?

Either one of these will work! The elvie actually, you can purchase just one if you want. It’s better not having the cords on the freemie if you can help it!

please share on how long and how often to charge between the two. I really like how I couldn't hear the freemie

Freemie can pump for 90 minutes I think, does need charged more often than the willow which I think goes closer to 2 hours

I wish I would've known about these before getting the basic one through my insurance... my milk has decreased and is low since I've returned back to work 😩 my baby is only 2 months and I don't want to dry up but it is very difficult to pump at work...

This might sound weird but it helped me when I went back to work to watch videos of my baby. The last two helped my supply a lot personally... I drank this tea called mother's milk and I powered pumped.

No weird at all! Videos, pictures, smelling baby items, all great ways to stimulate a let down. Nice instincts!

I am a low producer (with pcos) but trying to increase by pumping more. I work from home 4 days a week and go to the office 1 day. I also have a 10 year old stepson doing at home learning. I currently have the spectra 2 but a couple of cons are running an extension cord through my kitchen to my desk, the awkward flanges while my stepson is there and the bulky ness of transporting from room to room. I have been trying to research what pump with be the best. I’ve been toying with the willow or Elvie. I think the freemie would be good to attach to my spectra and I found I can get a rechargeable battery attachment for the spectra so that could solve all my issues. But I love the idea of the full wearable pump. I’ve heard that it can be hard to switch to expression mode with the willow. Have you seen or heard that? Also in comparison to the Elvie do you have a preference or recommendation? I saw you willow do a video next month but I’m in desperate need as my supply has dropped even lower. Thanks so much! 💚

Are those wearable pumps on the list of ones you can free with Tricare? I would assume not since they're so expensive...
@NewLittleLife
@NewLittleLife 4 жыл бұрын
I’ve seen the Willow (and the elvie, à comparable pump) on the lists before with an upgrade fee. Definitely not fully covered, but a good portion often is!

Elvie single is tricare covered. The double is covered up to 312$ so you just have to pay the extra. I don’t recommend the willow price wise because the Elvie is a little better, same price, and doesn’t require expensive addons

Thank you for your video, very informative. I heard the williow pump is really strong and kind of hurting your nipple. Is it true still with williow 3? Also can you compare baby Budda pump with freemie pumps. I saw a lot of people use baby Budda + freemie as a set. Why not just the whole freemie system? Last question: can these pumps be paid with HSA? I know freemie and baby Budda can. Not sure about willow.
@NewLittleLife
@NewLittleLife 4 жыл бұрын
The Willow 3 is much better with comfort and suction level. The Freemie cups are good with other pumps if you already have one, the actual freemie pump is good too, there’s a video on my channel. Yes you can use HSA for a breast pump as far as I know.

Thank you for your video. I am currently renting a medela symphony because my milk supply isn't great, but I would like to buy instead of rent. Do you think the Freemie is powerful enough to replace the Symphony. I don't have traditional insurance, so I don't get a free pump and don't want to spend $500 out or pocket for the willow. Thank you!
@NewLittleLife
@NewLittleLife 3 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I don’t think you’ll be happy with the freemie if you’re expecting something like the Medela symphony. That’s a $2000 true hospital grade pump and it’s fantastic. If you want to try a hands free option, the freemie or Williow are good options, but don’t be surprised if they don’t match up to your out put with the symphony. That pump is hard to beat!
