Doing this mod. What size is the cutting wheel that you used to take a little off the inside of that gear with the pin slot side?

Yep, I run three savage xl, 2 have lrp .32 and one runs a k5.9. No problems with this mod

Cool!!! I'll definetely try that mod on my XL too. I got some questions before... if you don't mind: Using this configuration, which clutch bell can I use to get a higher top end speed? 20T, maybe? How much did you remove from the back of the 32T drive gear? 1mm, 2...? And for last... Does the work really worth the difference on the top end speed? Thanks in advance.

I had to go single gear..my .32 lrp tore up any 2 speed set up....did yours work out?
