After about 8 months of constant requests, allow me to introduce the triumphant return of an Emory Tate chess game analysis. Bon appetit.

I don’t play chess at all and I barely understand it but you somehow managed to keep me engaged this whole video without realizing it. That’s was fun to watch 😂.

This is the type of game that makes me realize I will never be elite at chess. Like looking at a beautiful painting knowing you have no artistic ability. If I ever played a game like this it would be completely by accident 😂

it's really really embarrassing. Will seems like a bright young man with a lot of potential as a chess player but worshipping the Tates like this is just downright disgraceful. Emory Tate was a middling IM who never accomplished anything other than raising two rapists and human traffickers. there are literally thousands of better chess players to analyze the games of. but let's be honest, this isn't about the chess.

@@Red_Belly You don't know anything about what Will thinks about the Tates. He has stated multiple times, both in videos and on livestreams that he does not agree with them. Emory was a brilliant chess player and a pioneer in african-american chess, it is unfair to refer to him just as "the father of the Tate brothers".

@@Red_Belly He has made videos analysing many other chess masters but the Emory Tate ones do consistently well, so it makes sense that he would continue to do so. Also Emory Tate might be many curious peoples introduction to chess.

@@denvisegris9375 I'm sorry, i just don't quite buy it. Emory Tates peak rating was barely 2400 meaning he barely managed to become an IM. now, don't get me wrong, that's an accomplishment compared to the average amateur chess player but there are literally tens of thousands of stronger professional players to analyze. the only reason to become obsessed with Emory Tate like this is because of who his children are. i understand wanting to work the algorithm but i think highly enough of Will that i think he should know... this is NOT the audience he should be looking to attract to his channel.
