100% of the people that attend this fat camp can't do all this in their regular lives and then gain all the weight back. Who TF can workout 6 times per day? That's stupid AF

This is one of the most inspiring videos I have seen. Started watching with a little apprehension seeing a fitness influencer go to “fat camp” as thought it had the potential for the “I’m better than you” takeaway but it was the complete opposite. The motivation that is inspired and distilled into everyone that goes there is a true credit to Live In Fitness and to Will! Truly wonderful video, keep it up! #letsgooooo

i might do this if it wasnt in the Arizona heat. i would litterally die since i always am hot in wisconsin anyways. 70 degrees in the house i wake up drenched in sweat every day from sleeping. i cant beleive this is possible in that heat 6' 170 btw

How do you guys make the program sustainable for people who have jobs where they have to be in person... How does the program help people build routines for after the camp, especially when it comes to the exercise aspect.

It looks awesome as a kick up the arse but I dunno. Seems like there would be a huge adjustment from six workouts in the blazing sun per day with kind/knowledgeable trainers hovering over you and a personal chef to, well ... real life with a partner and a job and home maintenance and all the other responsibilities. Isn't that why all the Biggest Loser people gained a bunch of weight back (and why people who take a sabbatical and get things in check struggle when they come back to the normal routines)?
@notsaying
@notsaying Жыл бұрын
@@kincaid77160 cant you just say that about any workout? its the motivation that matters. there is a difference of being offered thousands of dollars to come onto a reality TV show, forced to lose weight. those people are MISERABLE on the show. this seems great, they are motivated as they are willing to move out there and spend all their own money doing it, i would have loved to start my fat loss journey with such a great environment and motivation

@@Somebodyelse141 i never took a cooking/nutrition class. after one experience i was motivated enough to look them up, find recipes, teach myself to cook or find healthy meals. if there's a will theres a way (lol) but these people seem very motivated and willing to do what it takes. you dont spend $3000 a week which some of them are on week 3, $9000 just to give up and put the weight back on. im sure if they wanted to they could watch the chef cook, and ask him questions about the recipes or meals.

They don't call it a fat camp. They call it a fitness bootcamp and will help you jumpstart your goal no matter your current fitness level and they send you home with a routine and meal plan to continue that's a more sustainable pace.

Just a picture of himself at the weight he was and the weight he wants to get back to, dressed in the uniform he earned and wants to wear again. As someone who is 100 lbs into a 200lb weight loss journey... seeing someone with a body comp like Will going to a fat camp with zero judgment and a desire to show all the amazing things they are doing for people at this facility warms my heart. I know that a lot of Will's attitude stems from his own transformation but his desire to see people achieve the kind of results he achieved through not the healthiest of means in a way that is healthy and sustainable is beyond compare. This video made me get up and workout. I'm finally making the change. I make my bed every morning, I brush my teeth twice a day, I've been eating healthy since the start of 2024 (the most amount of consecutive days I've ever gone eating good food my entire life) and I'm starting to workout and shower daily. For some it may sound pathetic but I never had motivation until now. I'm feeling happier already and I can't wait to keep going. Thanks for the spurt of motivation! Update: thank you to everyone supporting me in my replies. For those of you who may care I haven't given up. I genuinely feel that this is a lifestyle change and I don't see myself stopping. I'm a 5'6 18 year old female and I was 217lbs January 1st. It's now April 1st and I am 195.6lbs Still struggling with self confidence, lack of motivation, and a lot of self doubt. I still workout everyday but most days it's tough because I genuinely really dislike working out. Going for lots of walks has been working better for me. June edit: I'm hitting a wall. Any advice for getting back into things? May was a guilty bad month of eating bad and not working out. Now I feel like shit

i absolutely LOVE all the science going into this place. that there are body scans, that there are multiple types of meal plans and curated macros based on each (like the 42G protein on the athelete one), that they talked about posture and imbalances and the workout plans to address these, and finally 10:10 the guy talking about how this is a working camp and the goal is flexibility and functionality too. this is INCREDIBLE. to me, this isn't a fat camp, this is a functional fitness camp. so damn impressed!

Watching this video very late but man does that Marine speak to me so much. Got out of the Army 4 years ago this July and when I got out I spent most of time indulging. Drank more alcohol than usual, baked a lot of treats, cooked a lot of unhealthier options, and then of course smoked a lot of weed with bad choices when I had munchies. Then I moved back home a year later saw a photo my friends took and didn't realize how big I had gotten. Got out of the Army around 204lbs then skyrocketed to 280lbs within a year. Currently today sitting at 218lbs. Hope he kept going and fits in his uniform again because that uniform has such sentimental value to us all no matter what branch we served.

I’m not obese and never have been overweight, but hiking helped me overcome drug addiction and gave me a path to a new hobby - backpacking. Hard to relapse when you’re a 2 day hike from your car 😂 actually gave me the idea to start a rehab where after the intitial detox (which can physically be hell), we do small trips to build endurance and teach the participants things about backpacking - ultimately leading to the larger goal of a week - couple week outing. The symbolic nature of literally walking a path to reach a goal is something that inspired me a lot and that I’ve carried into other areas of my life.

U mentioned it so I wanna brag about my dad he had a metabolic rate of 14 and in his 20s, god I love him. Fitness and martial arts was his everything. But he was surrounded by heavy drugs and gangs all his upbringing and eventually both caught him. But he never lost it. Dad wanted to get fit again and he was so exited (he’s 49) and he was running hour runs on the treadmill straight, no breaks and this was his first day at gym until his last. He got a blood test done, and his creative levels were at 6,000. His liver wasn’t in good shape from all the alcohol he drunk throughout his life and because all his smoking the doctors told him he has bone disease. My dad had to stop trying to get fit again. He was devastated, his dream had revived, he even talked about making a KZbin channel, wearing a mask for so long and eventually taking it off to reveal his age. But yk. But I guess that’s what happens, seeing his heart break like that made me stop drug use entirely.

WIll, your humility, encouragement and willingness to learn in all situations is motivational. I love that this program focuses on specific individual needs of people, acknowledges autoimmune conditions and other unique health problems, emphasizes nutrition, and makes mobility, movement and technique a priority. Also, its great that you interview people like the former marine. Good for him, thats amazing these people are changing their lives and putting in the hard work.
