Ich habe WillyDeVille 3x im Konzert gesehen und war jedes Mal begeistert von ihm und seinen Musikern und Sängern/ Sängerinnen, die er so auf die Bühne holte, wie auch hier. Er lässt jedem/jeder Raum, sich zu präsentieren. Starker Charakter. Er ist nun leider schon einige Jahre nicht mehr hier (Ruhe in Frieden), aber seine Musik bleibt es und wir können sie immernoch hören und genießen. Was für ein Geschenk! Danke, Mr. DeVille und Band

I saw him in packed club in NYC, I think it was The Limelight, in the 80s. He was so wasted when he came out on stage that he had trouble staying on his feet. I can't recall if he last 10 minutes or 20. It wasn't long though. I think his drug addictions had an impact on the success, or lack of, in his career, sadly.

to the people that have never had the experience of being in New Orleans. This is the Chocolate City' s sound. It just gets under your skin and moves the hell out of you. The feel of New Orleans is like no other city in the world. Including Paris. I, ve had the pleasure of visiting New Orleans over 300 time. Both business and pleasure. Got to see Willy live there.
