Saw Mink DeVille on SNL in the 70s. He wore a pink Zoot Suit and chewed gum while he sang. He left quite the impression on a kid from New York. Totally cool and talented.

Saw him in Bradford west Yorkshire England way back early mid seventies they were in hotel we were drinking in before gig saw these sharp dressed dude heading out the bar and they were on stage when we got into gig same with hawkwind too

BTW if you see 2metersessions on something , check it immediately. For under that name hundred or so bands have made historical performances in small settings. Almost always resulting in incredibly intense and beautyful music . Just do it , I'd say .There's a lot of them.
