It simply isn't possible to capture the energy of a Willy Porter show in either video or text. Then you add in the wonderful voice of Carmen Nickerson and you can't do much other than sit back and be blown away.
This is a Peter Gabriel song that Willy has worked up for his 9 string baritone guitar and acoustic performance. The build to the crescendo at the end of the song left me with goose bumps and an even greater appreciation for the amazing talent that these two artists possess.

Saw both artists November 2012 and the house was rocking back at the Palms Playhouse in Winters CA, as the videographer said words do these artist no justice but being there is a "live"experience to be had and felt.. Well Done Willy/Carmen come back to CA soon we are in anticipation..

This guy is so talented. I remember seeing him years ago, I think Nevada City. Brilliant version of the song! I have to see when he will be performing in the Bay Area.

Me and the missus have been big fans of Willy Porter since he came to the UK as support for Tori Amos in 1994. Tori was bang average, but Willy was amazing 👏 👏👏
