Love your accuracy of pros and cons. I would add a negative being traffic on certain days and certain times (like when the Cape Fear River bridge is up) because there are only about three main 'artery' roads that run through the entire area of Wilmington. Market street and College road can be pretty bad especially during 'commute' time. Maybe a second negative would be that at night time 'young people' completely 'flood' the downtown area on the weekends. And the beaches can get 'crazy' busy during the summer to where you're literally sitting just a few feet away from other people. As far as bugs, luckily I never saw many 'water bugs' when I lived there except a few near the riverfront. I did experience a lot of mosquitos and horseflies working near the more 'forest' areas. My friend's family had a terrible time with 'ants' getting inside their house though. The greatest thing about living in Wilmington is that it's really 'low stress' other than the traffic. People are very humble and non-judgmental there also.

Thank you for your detailed comments. I really appreciate your input. In my opinion the traffic in Wilmington is not that bad compared to other big cities such New York, LA, Washington DC, or even Charlotte/Raleigh but if you were born and raised in Wilmington and never lived in a big city, the traffic is nightmare, since I came from a big city, traffic is not too bad for me. There’s still a tons of pros and cons that I haven’t mentioned on the video because I wanted to keep the video short. Take care and stay safe. Erwina

Wilmington and Tampa Florida are my two places I am now considering moving to. I'm here In San Diego where you pay about a million dollars a year just to rent (LOL). Looking at cost of living, politics, gun laws, recreation and business friendly states to move to. Wilmington is on my radar! Thanks for your video :)

I won’t say easy, I suggest you to get a job before move to Wilmington. There are plenty of jobs in Restaurants but the income rate here is very low compared to other state.

If you live in a big metropolitan city like New York or Los Angeles...of course these cities have higher paying jobs because the cost of living will kick you in the pants. You cannot compare this con with these major cities because you are not taking into account of the cost of living and quality of life. People are DYING in Los Angeles due to the rents being unreasonable and the homeless populations hurting 60k+ people (im sure it's well over 60k since the pandemic). The cost of living in Wilmington i am sure is reasonable compared even though the pay is low in the city. COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
