📌To make it completely clear, I also measured the racket number that Wilson put on the frame to mark the test rackets. The weight is 0.2g. So nothing that can mess up the measurement.

A clay court is already a cushioned surface than a hard or hartrue gravel coated court. If your looking for more stability and more padding , then expect heavier shoes and look elsewhere . Look at the wave enforce tour and or others for non clay surfaces . Apparently the Wave exceed tour 4 did not have what you want and it was considered the best of its year like the WET 5 for hard courts . The wave exceed tour 6 AC is considered on par with others in its class . I HAVE SPOKEN TO TENNIS WAREHOUSE ON THE SHOE . The pod casters choose this hard court version for its durability over the others in its class . This includes the lt23 ultra by lacoste and asaics court ff3 which is just a stripped down gel resolution .

I own 16/19 version and I love it. But to make it playable and freely maneuveravle I had to add 12 games to the handle and now it’s weights 347 with dumpener and overgrip.

To be clear these are not the rackets the pros are using. It is the same mold, the H22, but the layup is different between the Blade Pro and Prostock rackets.

Really? I thought pro's actually use these but customized of course. I have a pro stock Head Speed Pro Auxetic 1.0 at home which you cannot buy for sure. Used by Roman Jebavý, Czech pro, doubles player. I will make a video on it. Crazy swingweight.

I think the sw of the Blade pro 18x20 is higher than on the 16x19. I carry both in my go to bag and I Like the 18x20 more.
@CzechTennisGuy
@CzechTennisGuy Ай бұрын
It should be higher on the 18x20 version but as you could see in my video, it was the opposite. It really depends on the real balance and weight of every individual frame. Sadly the QC is not that good. I expected to be really top notch for these frames.

I have 3 of these. 1 of them is severely over spec. Qc is pretty bad. The good ones do play really good tho.

That's a shame. With the pro stock version you would expect "Yonex like" quality control within 1g of difference in weight, but sadly it's not the case.

Hi, how does it feel compared to the rf 01 pro? Rf is 15g heavier, but in terms of SW, these rackets are more similar, than different.
@CzechTennisGuy
@CzechTennisGuy Ай бұрын
Hi, the RF 01 Pro is little bit easier to hit with compared to the Blade Pro's. It also generates little bit more free power and has crisper feel. The Blade Pro have more solid, muted feel.

so overall which one would you use for tournaments 16x19 or 18x20 Pro?
@CzechTennisGuy
@CzechTennisGuy Ай бұрын
In this particular case, with the SW being lower for the 18x20, I like it more. Probably if the SW was lower for the 16x19, I would like it more. And also the string pattern of the 18x20 felt better for my game. I don't need huge top spin potential for my flatter shots. I can create top spin myself when I need it. So yes, the 18x20 felt better.

Do you find blade pro more stiff than v9 ? How don you compare both ? They are 305 grams cant be too heavy
@connorbond
@connorbond Ай бұрын
I would say so. The pro is a bit wider frame with a more open string pattern
@CzechTennisGuy
@CzechTennisGuy Ай бұрын
I wouldn't say it feels stiffer, but it feels more solid. And that solid feel makes the racket feel more rigid, complete. Like it's filled with something, probably foam. It means you get less free power, but more overall control over the pace. Classic V9 plays easier, it's for regular club players let's say. The Pro version is for very good advance and pro level players.

@@curiousgeorge6921 depends on what you are looking for the standard blade is a bit easier for most. I haven't liked the way the standard has felt since 2015. The pro is heavier and feels more like a classic frame. I prefer the pro

I tried to get these matched at spec or less from TW but all the pros in their warehouse were measuring high for swing weight. I demoed one at a lesser swing weight but my purchased racket is much less maneuverable

These rackets.... are abnormally head heavy and feel absolutely hollow in the handle. They are not heavy in terms of STATIC WEIGHT. It's the balance..... its abnormally head heavy. I'm an advanced player who regularly competes on ITF circuit with a loose, wristy and kinetically efficient forehand (basically I KNOW good forehand mechanics) and find the RF97 easier to play with than these Blade Pro's. Wilson need to ease up on the extreme balance imo.... They seem to make them like this because they think the extreme balance will help give power to lesser players... but it's not. It's just making life harder. Pretty sure none of the pro's use the stock balance. Probably have custom balances made for them. Federer's balance was 30.5mm. That is VERY head light.

@CzechTennisGuy 12 күн бұрын
I very much agree. Pro's for sure have customized them to the I would say 310-315mm unstrung balance.
