Because of this video, I got the RF Future and RF 01 as testrackets. Weight is almost spot on, but the swingweight is - as in your video - totally off. The Future swingweight is 290 and should be 300, The RF 01 is 307 and should be 319. This is unaccapetable. Both rackets are very good though. Good control and stable, point aned shoot rackets. A bit like a raw Blade, but the Blade feels much softer/dampened. I like the Future even a bit better, and that is strange because it is so light and has the low swingweight. So I put 6 grams leadtape on the Future, will test tomorrow how that feels.

I agree. Those numbers are pretty off. And the worst thing is that if you know it, you definitely lose confidence in the racket just because of the fact. I ordered 2 RF 01 (300g) and I hope they will be ok. The Future is really an admirable racket. For that weight and SW you get pretty much a complete racket. Customizing it can be fun thanks to the easy balance.

The best racket of the year. I love the RF01.

My RF 01 is spot on. I’m not that sensitive to any difference either so really doesn’t matter to me.

That's great. 👍 I ordered 2 frames for myself directly from Wilson. I will get 3-4 frames to choose from because they weren't able to measure the parameters themselves, so they offered me this solution, which is nice. I will make another quality control video when I receive them.
@gdraskovic2 ай бұрын
I’ll explain that to you since you asked lol Wilson qc sucks that’s the truth and explains everything 😂. Their specs are meaningless and most people’s reviews are irrelevant because unlike in your videos most people don’t measure the racquets on RDC thus we/they have no idea what sw they are playing with. My rf 01 Pro has sw of 321. I love it but it’s way “off”
@CzechTennisGuy2 ай бұрын
I agree. But that 321 is way better for my taste. 330 is too much. Yesterday I ordered the RF 01 300g, 2 sticks for myself directly from a Wilson official who works for them. Waiting time is 1 month in the Czech Republic right now. Rackets are sold out. I hope they will match the numbers I measured and both will be similar. Otherwise I will send them back for a replacement. I will make a video about them when they arrive.

@@CzechTennisGuy That’s awesome and the only way to order Wilson stick is to have them hand picked IMHO. I was just curious about RF 01 Pro and found one for sale in Los Angeles before the official sale date so I could not resist and bought one without measuring it first. I was lucky that it was 321 SW. It makes it completely manageable. If it was 330+ combined with 320 gr static weight it would become too much for me for more than 5 min of hitting.
@CzechTennisGuy2 ай бұрын
@@gdraskovic So I did that. Today I wrote an email to Wilson if they can measure the 2 rackets before they send me them. Let's see what happens. I agree. And what is the static weight/balance of your Pro?

@@CzechTennisGuy When you buy 2 or 3 Wilson rackets, there is an unofficial quality control. There is no need to ask for.
@CzechTennisGuyАй бұрын
@@seachangeseachange I didn't know that. But I'm not buying them from a Wilson.com store. But from a guy who works for Wilson, he is a marketing executive. So that's why I wrote him an email.

Those differences in swingweight (12pts and 8pts) are too extreme. That makes it a total different racket. For 260-270 euro's that is ridiculous.
@CzechTennisGuy2 ай бұрын
The question is, where does it come from? The overall specs like the weight/balance aren't that bad. So why the SW is so different from TW? Well, maybe it's because TW has once again measured some heavier batch of RF 01 rackets. Who knows what number is correct. That's why a want the tennis racket companies come up with their own SW numbers from factory written in the unstrung specs sheets, like some other brands do, like Artengo for example. Otherwise it's just a lottery and guessing game.
@MK-------2 ай бұрын
@@CzechTennisGuy Exact, it is like buying a new pair of shoes without knowing the size. Specs should be measured per racket by the company and printed on the racket.
@kkarx2 ай бұрын
Yeah, I am thinking of getting a new racket and I will probably go with Yonex this time because they have the best quality control. Head QC sucks, Wilson QC sucks, Babolat QC sucks... Tolerance +-7g means you might sometimes get a Tour racket that is acutally lighter than on the paper lighter version and vice versa. Crazy.
@CzechTennisGuy2 ай бұрын
@@kkarx The only way to solve it is to ask for numbers of the particular rackets and to be able to choose exactly the ones, you want. I think some shops offer that.
@MK-------2 ай бұрын
@@kkarx I played with a Ezone 98, specs were almost spot on. And the racket is very good. Switched to a Wilson Blade 98 18x20 because it gives me more control and softer feel, and a friend measuered swingweight for me, that was also spot on (1pt off). So I have been lucky so far.
