Good stuff as always! 👍I got a question in regards to the use of lubrication on 1911s (maybe you could do a separate video on the matter sometime): what do you guys normally use (oil, grease, maybe both at times)? Is there a specific brand that you stick with that works the best for you? I was just curious and would like your two cents. This is by far, in my opinion, one of the best channels in reviewing 1911s; you go over every detail and never leave anything out. Excellent content as always, be safe and God bless!

Yes retirement is underrated, going on six years for me. Collecting and weekly range time has become one of my retirement passions. 1911’s are one of my favorites, a couple 9mm but mostly 45 acp. If you can get your hands on a Ruger Security 380 for review you will not be disappointed.

waiting for mine to come still. going on 13 months now. CQB commander aluminum frame, 9mm , grey and black. gold bead front site, mag well and round but, also did the high cut option under trigger guard,, ( not sure if that's worth it ) patiently waiting

I've done the gambit on custom 1911's. If you name a higher end manufacturer I have owned a couple of their 1911's. I'm my humble opinion WC is the best and most consistent maker out there. Followed closely by Ed Brown.

We have 5 or 6 Wilson Combats…. They have been Awesome!!! Experior needed 200 rounds to break in and the Shock Buff removed. Since then 100%. Only one Nighthawk…. No problems or issues to date. (June 9th, 2023.) we would like to test out 3 or 4 more Nighthawks. Respectfully, Beretta Sr.

Really nice firearm. I like the bronze frame with the blued slide, very smooth melt treatment. Wilson Combat makes some outstanding firearms. I boycotted shooting a certain firearm for rent at the shop today.

Thanks my friend. It is kinda sad that this is going on. I think it may continue for 6 more months. In about 8 months I will SELL my 2 Cabot and 2 or 3 of my ACW 1911s. Maybe I will but another Nighthawk 1911 and another 2011 pistol. I look forward to getting rid of the Cabot & ACW 1911 Pistols. Just a miserable ownership experience. The worst by far in the 11 years we have run a gun channel on KZbin. On to something else. Do you have a couple Nighthawks that you like or Ed Brown 1911…. @@BERETTA9mmUSA Definitely ditch those wannabe custom 1911s. So sorry about your experience with them. It’s gut wrenching at that price. If you are going to pick up a 2011, Infinity is at the top, Atlas Gunworks is the fan favorite (best balance of quality and price), and Staccato is the best workhorse. At least in my opinion. Whatever you decide to get, it will be better than those disappointing Cabots and Alchemies 👍

@Beretta9mmUSA I know it's atypical but could you do a video on how to be more aware. I mean some have it by their environment growing up and others less or not at all. It'd be great if you could share something on that. I'm trying to stay left of bang but my peaceful surroundings have either dulled me in that regard or there wasn't much in that regard to begin with. Nice buy and worth the wait. With the H&K's you got, it'd be cool to see what Langdon does to one of them based on what you'd like. Did you guys ever own smaller 1911s? I've heard of Bill himself talking about the need of changed feeding angle to get close to the reliability of the fullsize with the commander sized ones but would you trust a smaller sized 1911? Have you thought about commenting on police activity videos?

Hi Ray!! I don’t find the SA35 to be as good as any of my best 1911 pistols, and therefore I would have it worked on, or take a pass. Young Beretta bought one, and I just do not like it as much as 15 or 20 of my favorite 1911 pistols. I am such a 1911 guy… it is pretty sick. I still dig my Bakers Dozen Glock Pistols, but they can’t get the light shined on them, because of the 1911 Pistols everywhere! LOL.😂😇My Best To You Ray! Stay safe Brother! Beretta Sr.
