Pete taught me how to roll through one of his videos. Now I watch all his vids. Nice to see he's taking a few newbies down. One thing I tell beginners - is have a more powerful vertical stroke - up front, pull back. Too many have a low weak, stroke. OK for flatwater, but when it gets bigger and faster - high and upright. is the way.. Would have liked to see his complete run. He's a better paddler for it. Stick with it Allen.

I've paddled with Avery and Kevin on the Ocoee and Avery on the New River Gorge. Avery has so much energy. It has been too long since I've paddled whitewater. I'm a teacher and never seem to find time to do much of anything anymore. Regardless, I'd like to run Wilson Creek one day.

For sure Jason! Creeking is always technical in nature. This run isn't super crazy on the creeking technical scale, but it is def more so than just river running. Where do you live?
