When I was still so young I had to get my minority status waived in court to signs recording contract, I signed with Tommy Cogbill & his Trump label, which was a subsidiary of Capitol. Not many people realize how well Tommy played acoustic six string. We were sitting around one day and put together a slow version of "A Groovy Kind of Love," about the same tempo that Phil Collins to did years later. I sure wish we'd put that song on 2" tape at American!
