Looks like Solinco Hyper-g as the string. I had this too in the beginning. It was a bit mushy. Then I switched to Solinco Tour Bite and this is THE perfect string for the Blade Pro. It plays much better than Hyper-G. Because Hyper-G is somehwat soft/mushy, as well as the frame Blade Pro. Combining the soft Blade Pro with the slightly stiffer Tour Bite string is a big winner. Did you mention, that is has the mold of the Wilson H22 Pro Stock Racket (essentially almost is that racket)?

It seems like it’s the best racket you can get. I thought about changing from Blade 98 to Pro Staff, would you recommend the Blade Pro to me?
@SolowSports
@SolowSports Жыл бұрын
Depends what you're trying to accomplish. If you're looking for more control, then a Pro Staff may be a better fit; if you're already playing with the Blade 98, the Blade Pro is very similar.

Would you recommend switching from a clash 100 to this racket? I’m an intermediate player that’s an aggressive base-liner, I have an intense semi western grip on forehand, and topspin backhand. Btw I love you channel!
@SolowSports
@SolowSports Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for the kind words!! The Blade Pro is for all court control players. Clash 100 is for baseline comfort (easy sweet spot and pain elimination). I think heavy semi western grip styles need that 100 sq inch head to reduce framing the ball and accommodate spin potential. Would be difficult on a Blade Pro for you. If you want more control with you grip style you can consider the Head Speed MP (a lot of the blade like characteristics with a 100 head).

I understand what you are saying, but pro stock rackets that tour players use can also be made in China and then customized here in the US. I still consider this racket to be pro stock as its not the normal manufacturing of their retail frames and separates it from the standard blade.

Not sure Limited Edition is the correct term. Also hard to use this as a platform racket with the SW is at 337 already.
@sebastiandomagala9233
@sebastiandomagala9233 Жыл бұрын
337 is not that much, reguarding the racquet being sold to pros rather than recreational players. My retail V7 18/20 had a SW roughly in that ball park, and I added some lead to 3 and 9 (and a whole lot under the grip). SW was 360 after that, felt just fine.

Haha. I see the H22 more of a pro stock frame exclusively for pro players. And if the general public gets their hands on it, it’s already to someone else’s specs. This racket is manufactured to a certain spec that the end customer doesn’t really chose so I see it more as a pro stock bc of higher end manufacturing but limited edition/release for its rarity.
