It's a clue on the problems each of them went through. So it is 5 different set of problems bound together into a similar song/story/puzzle. Justin sang "contemplating on the lack of melody" because he can dance and rap but has not developed an individual vocal singing style yet. But now he sings very well in this song. It is evident he has found his "voice." Extremely deep. They are not singing emotionally because they want to showcase their talent - it is sung emotionally to imply the stories you have to unravel.

Thanks for this RV! Light here on their perspective is the limelight that they have, being SB19. Pablo in their Rappler interview said that the 5 of them only get to speak to each other most of the time, not really able to expose themselves beyond their circle esp in the past when they had to push on without break bec they didn't want to lose the momentum. Hence the line sang by Justin saying "Can we stop, even for a week?" and Ken's "my footsteps are getting heavier as I get nearer to the place I don't want to be in", as well as Josh's "getting into my own prison and when he'll be free from it. They had to keep reporting to work even if circumstances around them are not the best, so that they can keep the momentum going. Doing so however without any break would have certainly taken a toll on them, not just physically but also emotionally, mentally. All uncertainties at that time would have certainly gotten to their heads that they even had to question if they still had their identities intact, considering that the same limelight they were in came with expectations and even demands for them to do and be something they are not. This song is also a plea to see them as they really are behind the spotlight that's shone on them, because they have been their authentic selves since the beginning; a plea to see them as they really are without blinders in our eyes. Cause they are not hiding, but are still misinterpreted or misconstrued, hence, the line: "Even when I scream/shout, am still unheard. It's like saying "Don't paint us to be something we're not, hear us, because even with the popularity, we are still our true selves, not hiding behind the blinding light.

People said this song has many meaning depending on what situation a person is in. For me the "Ilaw" represents my job. I'm thankful for the "Ilaw" of my life now which is the reason of why I'm having what I have now. Justin's line said "here I am again, on my way to precinct, thinking about a lot of things. When will I be freed from here? Here I am again, can we delay it even just for a week? " For us working overseas we're like this more often than not. The level of stress and sadness isn't easy. Spending years with people with different culture and language can lead to confusions sometimes. In respect of other people's beliefs and culture we tend to not show our sense of identity. My job requires so much patience and gentleness. Sometimes I wanna stop and go home. 😅 I'm just grateful I found Sb19. They're my breather.

I always cry everytime I listen to this song...so many can relate to the lyrics of the song...but it helps to just feel the pain..the sadness..the turmoil inside😢 and release the emotions with them SB19..then it makes you feel lighter inside after that...each one of SB 19 went thru a lot of these emotions and even mental anguish but they are able to come back stronger than before...they give hope and inspire...to A'tin a stress relief... a warm hug🤗

In their recent interview with Rappler Live Jam, they were asked what the song means, and the four members left it to Pablo to explain. I may be reading too much of it but I think Pablo hesitated a tad in explaining…I mean he fumbled a bit in elaborating what it was, and though he did say there were times they wanted a break from all the clamor, I sensed he wasn’t giving the whole picture.
