Nice to see someone that knows the value of Madrone. I've been scouting for it for over 50 years. Best burning, most btu's in the west coast range

With a piece of property that beautiful. Just awesome. How could anyone want to sell it. You'll never have a opportunity to have it again. And it produces income regularly ( timber sales)

I can so relate. I knew a road just like that once. He was humpy and bumpy and eminently unapproachable. A few winters under his belt and he sluffed off into the ravine like a worn out whino. No amount of effort on my part improved his attitude... Wait... What was I talking about again?! 😂

I’m commenting to say I’m in favor of mitigating climate change, but also because the big tree going Kaboom! reminded me that one of the things about this channel that I like is the multiple camera angles.👍😀

I've still got about a day's splitting to go on winter before last's last tree. and while I was on vacation, the house sitter stacked up this year's tree. but I still have to haul it up to the house and split it. for me, firewood is a by-product of cleaning up fallen trees.

Deloaded... I like it! 😂 In fact, I'm using it from now on whenever I have to load up and make a delivery. And when people look at me all crazy and wondering what the heck I'm talking about, I'll refer them to your videos. Maybe even get you some more subscribers 😊

You should get a box blade, or build one from railway line. It's the best way to tidy up tracks, also a smudge with a diagonal bar.

As the Woodmizer is modular, why not take it up on the property and saw lumber? Wouldn't that be easier than hauling the logs down? Then take down dry boards/planks the length of the trailer. I have no idea if there is money in it, but feels like there is alot of time spent behind the steering wheel...

6:38 - What happens to all the bark from your firewood left over? Does it just decay by next year, or build up and you have to move it somewhere, or what goes on with that?

I missed anything related to the title. Or is it just that it’s the end of it for this year? Also, I noticed your dad has lumber stored on edge. Could you talk about that? Sorry if I missed it discussed previously. Trying to slowly watch all your videos but still too much work outside before winter. Then I can binge. You remind me of Dick Proenneke.
