Why would you do that? , ... par 3 175 Local club pro put a 8i in the left side trap, pitched out, and missed the putt. I took 6i, open stance to fade it, due to the hook lie tee box, hit center green, and two putted for the skin. I get the admiration, but club the club you can score. N take the money.

James, your "playing game" has definitely come a long, long way since I first started watching your videos. All of the time, effort, and hard work you have put in are showing up. Used to be, you were swinging out of your shoes on EVERY shot, now it appears much more relaxed in in rhythm. Keep up with what you are doing, and improvement will continue. Silly question. On 13 (1st in this video) you debated whether to use a soft 8 or a soft 7. Rich rightly picked you up regarding why you didn't hit a firm 8, so your soft 8 only just got there, and a great putt got you a birdie. Knowing that hole, I don't understand the debate as, when I was taught course management skills, I was told that, on a par-3, I should look to avoid as much of the trouble as possible and, the trouble here being bunkers, they are 1 in front, 2 left and 2 right but nothing at the back. So, surely the philosophy should be back, not front, edge? What am I missing?

Yeah so on that hole trouble really was long of the green, you can get a hard bounce off the back edge or just fly it straight into the gorse if the wind dies or you get a knuckle ball without much spin. I was trying to take the spin off the 8 which flared up a bit in the wind, the bunkers isn’t a bad miss on that hole as it has a low lip with plenty of green to work with

I know this round is just for KZbin, but if you are trying to make it as a pro you should be playing from the back black tees. East Devon is not really the longest course to begin with.
