@@JamesWiltshire I know it will. I used to play 36 a day and practice daily on one aspect of my game. I found that the play made the biggest difference I am sure you will as well. Competing with friends who wanted to destroy me on the course also helped.

I used to lay it off like that, and also used to hit flailing push cuts that would sail away on the wind like crisp bags. Good coach has sorted me out, nice push draws now. Not bad for a recreational chopper.

I've been a Greenkeeper for 18 years and I can definitely say the course set up guy/girl loved some shitty breaks around the holes.... 🤪🙈 Gotta say your swing is seriously good James, I think you need to have the danglers to go more at the flags imo... Instead of shaping shots or thinking about flights, just go straight at the flag more!! 👍🏻👌🏻

Nice work dude! Such a big improvement. I’ve played The Shire a number of times. One of my favourite courses, real risk/reward tee shots, and some of the most difficult greens I’ve played. the camera doesn’t do the slopes justice. So close on a number of putts too. Good luck for your next round.

This is a local course to me, this is the course I lost my hair on 🤣 very challenging! That camera doesn’t show how crazy them greens are at all. Dude please, you can’t except making every putt. He’s iron/wedges/pitches are nowhere near the flagstick. + he misses so many basic tee shot with an iron. There is not really any good birdie chance more then on the par 5s. And just to make clear I know the game. I got +5,2 in hcp

Great video, very interesting to watch and certainly looks like a tough course. I may have no idea what I'm talking about but it seems as if you are set up left on a lot of shots but still seem to be swinging from the inside and to the right. I would have thought that if you set up left, presumably to try and faid it, and then swing more to the left and slightly across then the start line of the ball will be more consistent. Would be interested to see if you agree or I am just takking out of my arse.

A big improvement James, good work. The short game and putting seemed much better. The swing looks like it’s standing up for longer throughout the round. You seem to be taking unnecessary complexity out of it (as per Steve Surry), which simplifies the task ahead. Keep going.

Lots of stokes saved by the short game and pretty solid putting, great stuff, especially considering the green speed. Any thoughts on those fades that flared? It looks like your feet are lined up nicely left but relative to that, the club is going back miles inside which gives you no room to actually start the ball left. All your worst shots seem to come from that sort of setup. Sort that out and you're under par, especially with that quality of putting.
