Henning's story about when he was a missing person is one of the best stories, ever. Please, you must react to that one! By the way, they pronounce his surname "vane".
@TheLastCrusader223 ай бұрын
Which is also kind of incorrect to be fair. The pronunciation shouldn't really have a diphthong, it's more close to the word "when" except "vehn". It always bothers me when they say "vain" on any show but I guess, clearly, Henning doesn't mind

There is a slight amount of distortion with these new microphones - not as clear as your old ones. You should check out other Henning WILTYs.
@PaulMartin-w3g9 ай бұрын
Guys regarding the mics, I get that why you got them but no amount of volume level, speaking quieter will solve the problem that they just are not as clear as the other mic, both your voices sound dull and even though you were speaking quieter at certain frequencies the mics seem to amplify the sound more producing short of spikes in your talking. By all means use them for the special show but please revert to the original mic afterwards. Sorry to point out that the more excited you get (especially Jodi) the more the mics have issues, never had any problems with the old mic like this.

We lived next to RAF Northolt and a hurricane, spitfire and a Lancaster bomber took off from there to do flyover London and the Lancaster with its 4 Rolls Royce engines circled over our house waiting for the 2 other planes to join it. It shook all my mums ornaments off the shelves and it took us over a week to glue what we could back together. Most of them were f..ked. She converted to brass ornaments after that. ✌❤🇬🇧

I've a feeling that a hamper means something different in the USA to the UK meaning, where it means a basket of usually luxury foods and drinks. Henning thought the gift was inappropriate in retrospect as someone must have told him it was a bit stereotypically sexist to give a woman cleaning equipment as a present.

Yeah, I always find it disappointing when women are given gifts that are for cleaning and cooking. At the risk of sounding "woke" (oh no, it's that scary concept about diversity, inclusivity, or representation of minorities and/or historically marginalized communities, along with sensitivity, respect, and equal treatment of those communities), getting women those kinds of gifts just reeks of sexism. My mother got so sick of it because my dad always bought things to help her clean the house, or cook. So essentially they're household gifts that she'll use for him, or he would buy her things they both use. Gifts should be more personal, or if you're not sure what to get, give a gift card or give cash.
@paulreynolds33199 ай бұрын
It's inappropriate because it insinuates that women do all the cleaning I suppose. That's how I took it.

Hennings surname is pronounced Venn. Although the German language has the letter W, it is pronounced as V. As in the German motor car VW. Most confusing, as an English speaker, I don’t see the point in having a W in your alphabet if you are going to pronounce it the same as another letter.
