But I think American comedians wanting to seem smarter than the room can be a put off with some comedians especially when combined with arrogance. I think British comedians are more happy to cooperate and go along for the ride without necessarily being the star of the show, which is why these UK panel shows work so well. I think Americans are more likely to want the limelight for themselves, and with a whole ensemble competing for airtime, it just wouldn't work.

I've gotten into an argument with another adult about reindeer she thought it was hysterical. I thought reindeer existed. Actually, laughing is not in malice, but more like my belief that the mythical creature known as Reindeer existed was ridiculous. I had my (US) Thanksgiving dinner blended and drank it through a straw. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and gravy all blended together. Pretty good actually. Probably wouldn't have been as good if you added yams, cranberries, and apple pie in the same mixture. I had my wisdom teeth pulled earlier in the week and it was painful to eat solid food for most of the week.
