Finally a new brake setup for the Toyota Corolla XRS. I'll be installing a wilwood caliper upgrade on my 2006 Toyota Corolla XRS. This kit retains the use of oem sized rotors 03-08 Corolla front.

Make sure to flush your entire brake fluid system clean and install the new fluid. Willwood sells a new updated since 2020 kit. As of last week, Summit Racing has the best price for the scion tc big brake kit.

Hi. First thank you for the video. I have a 00 Celica GT. I've been searching around for a good caliper upgrade without going to a BBK. You discuss getting a separate kit or washer kit to more evenly space the calipers. Could you be a bit more specific? Or tell me where to get this washer space kit?

Did you end up installing the shim kit that you mentioned at the end? I re watched you putting on the caliper but couldn’t tell from the angle. Great video so I subscribed.

I did not during the recording of the video, I had some from a previous brake floating caliper install.

Hey man I’m really curious what the lower control arm spacers does. Could you explain?

To help correct some suspension geometry when lowering the car. Once a car is lowered the lower control arm is no longer in the correct position and/or parallel with the road. With the spacers, it corrects the angle of the arm depending on how low you go. These will work well with a car that is not extremely lowered. They also provide -1 degree of camber.

They've been long discontinued from toyota. From the 1st gen Scion Tc. It's just a stoptech caliper.

Yes or from a 99-06 celica. All the same mounting.

Do NOT use the blue permatex/loctite. Do NOT use regular red loctite or permatex You must use red loctite/ permatex thread locker 2710 due to its higher heat and shock absorbing quality.

I purchased them through Central Pine in California, they were able to get them to me directly from T-demand in Japan.

I don't think this kit will fit that year range corolla. fastbrakes.com has a kit I think.

Not sure. I believe the 2015 has different caliper mounts.

The wilwood is way smaller than the old one

yeah piston diameter is smaller but it brakes the same. And the rotors are the same.
