Wily Wars - Top Man stage with MM2 weapons

Its very wild and weird seeing MM2 weapons outside of its original game. Its like a weird alternate timeline where Mega Man kept the data for his previous weapons.

This is a foreshadowing of what I'm going to see in the separate and than full three bundle games. Mega Man using Mega Man 4-6 weapons in Mega Man 4-6 in the Sequel Wars is going to be a fun treat.

I noticed Top Man not taking damage from certain weapons, are the bosses programmed to be immune to weapons from other games or is that a result of those weapons using the same number slot or something as the MM3 defaults

Haven't done research into it, but there definitely are weaknesses. Some of the ones I can remember: Cutman is weak to hard knuckle Gutsman is weak to magnet missile (but it's not that good since it homes in on his rocks for whatever reason) Crashman is weak to top spin Metalman is weak to rolling cutter Shadowman is weak to metal blade Etc.

EDIT: I initially wrote about weapons sharing "damage elements" in this comment but after taking a closer look I'm not sure if that's actually the case. Some similar weapons definitely share a lot of their damage values (like rolling cutter and metal blade) but they're not always 1:1. It seems that it was manually set up after all.

How can you remake Mega Man 3's music when Capcom herself sucks at it? Mega Man 3 music was just perfect in the NES and it's butchered in the Wily Wars.
