If this exists and I haven't seen it yet in your back catalog, you should do a show entirely on ingredients in your cabinet, what brand you use and why. You seem to put a lot of thought into everything so I'd be interested in which ingredients you're using.(And potentially where to source them if they aren't from some secret temple in Japan!)

I like both styles so it really depends. Generally I do prefer videos that have a bit more explanation and side notes/tips added. But some recipes are more straightforward so those ones can be quick and short. Thanks!

For anyone looking for the containers, they seem to be the "emsa optima" containers, in my country they're sold under a different company/name (tefal optima), so you might have to google around a bit, perhaps each region has their own reseller. Saw them on amazon too tho. :)

I buy in bulk so often that I've taken to putting things in mason jars with replacement lids on them. I can see what's what. Open boxes and bags don't work well for me, and not a fan of plastic, so it works well for me. Your storage looks amazing. Everything is right at hand. Mmmm green tea. Yum. Love your kitchen and storing overstock behind the containers actually helped me (1) save storage and (2) also eliminate the issue of reaching far into the cuboard to grab something. The whole stacking thing is a game changer omg with the overstock in the back. I did a test run with some containers I already had and it's a complete life changer. I have so much more space now and I can actually see everything. Except now I have to run out to the store and get more of the exact same containers that I already have. I'm a spice and ingredient addict I have so many. I have managed to cut back I'm trying to be more minimalist in the kitchen.

This is so true. Having organization will help you store your goods plus motivate you to cook. It also helps visually so now when you go grocery shopping you can remember what you have. Thanks for thr popcorn tip. Bc I threw my microwave away about 8 years ago and enjoy heating left overs up in the oven when home, or the toaster oven when at work.

If that is pure maple syrup it has a forever shelf life like honey does. If it has other ingredients like the cheaper maple syrups do then the shelf life is a couple of years. Excellent video. I have admired your spice organization since your channel found me. Saving up for your cookbook. I use the Chef Path airtight containers which can be purchased on Amazon to get that organized look. They come with the labels to identify what is in the container. Thank you for sharing your flavorful and healthy recipes with us.

Lay ho ma from Australia! Love your nerdy sorted kitchen drawers, shelves containers etc!! I resonate exactly as your kitchen is set up though i haven't in practical terms been so pedantic of late. I remember in my earlier years I kept all the large Moccona coffee jars to store dried goods, herbal teas, sugars, flour etc! Then I discovered real coffee beans... I also love stainless steel bowls and cutlery plus love to clean and collect jars, especially unique shapes and sizes....ooh if only you lived down the road so we could swap recipies, ingredients and share cooking time :)

Organization is a challenge for some - and particularly for me. I live on an island just north of the equator where rust is a problem . Our windows are open to the salty sea air. Spices lose their strength more rapidly and appliances and stainless knives and utensils rust! I loved your cabinet set up: not much overload. What appliances do you deem essential, if you don’t mind my asking? Loving the recipes and approach to food!

Love all your recipes and cookings as a vegan who also don't eat garlic and onions, I also like to label my jars as to what's in what , I cut the smallest label of the name from the box and use as label and also cut the use by date from the same box and stick it on the bottom of the container as to keep an eye on expiry date.

That’s a surprise discovering that I am not the only organized maniac in the face of earrh! 😉😛😜😃 Amazing how I felt like I knew your cupboards insides and order.... I’ve been laughed all my life long by family and friends for being soooo logically clean and organized. The way you organize your herbs and spices complete with overstock behind looks a lot like my herb shop. But with 300 herbs, salts and spices. Your kitchen cabinets are quite beautiful. Like your food
