Agreed you dont even need to use 2 hands to block effiently. Aim to block and strike at the same time. That spin would get him killed or knocked out and I hope no one tries that in the street. You will likely get seriously hurt if god forbid you have to defend yourself. The front kick is a useful in a street situation. Especially to the sternum or stun and low kick to the knee

Unless you want to sight the situation, turning around with the back to the opponent seems a disadvantage. Once I was sparing with one who claimed to be a former body guard of a former South Vietnam President (- in a narrow hallway, in between class), before I could turn halfway around, he immobilized my turning grabbed the back of my upper arm. Being just 'fooling around', we ended up laughing. I remember reading once that one should avoid having one's back to the opponent. I learned a lesion that moment!

I love how you street fighters think your superior to martial arts,confidence is a good thing however ,But if you face a martial artist with years of constant training ,you will wake up ,and not know what happened,I am a martial arts ,street fighters when in combat they tend to rely on strength and anger,A martial artist relies on the mind,They use every environment and situation to there advantage,A martial artist brings there mind which is memory ,timing,coordination,focus,self control,self esteem,confindence,Wisdom,.A martial artistic brings the body which is speed,strenght,pulmonary heath,cardiovascular heath,endurance,conditioning,Nutrition education ,Last but not least a martial artist brings the spirit,which is being a good human being,a martial artist keeps all three of these within him .A trained martial artist will all ready knows your next move before you throw it or use it.A martial artist does not look for trouble,neither does the martial artist fear trouble,A martial artist does not fight for trophies or recognition or in competiion,A martial artist fights only to defend themself or defend some one else,A well trained martial artist only fights when every attempt to avoid the conflict has been exhausted ,That Is the self control and discipline and thinking benefit of Martial Arts, If left with no other choice a martial artist will control the situation or attacker .A martial artist knows there is a line between self offense and assault ,A martial artist is a master of his emotions .A martial artist will never fight out of anger.A true martial artist finds violence intolerable and stupid.If you look through the history of Martial Arts, you will see that martial arts was developed so villages could defend them self from invaders ,Martial arts was developed to protect farmers from theifs and robbers.Martial arts was developed so there could be peace,Martial arts was developed too stop violence not engage in it.

Ok time for another review 1:26 This works well to stop the punch but it leaves you open for another one. After you block, the opponent can strike you on the head while your arms hold the right hand. Useful only if you are a lot faster than the opp. I can see fictional characters like Elektra, Black Widow or Shang Chi (all 3 are from Marvel) use this move effectively in a big fight. This is useful to display "skill", not win a fight against someone with a comperable physical prowess as you. 2:10 You have to react fast to follow up with this. You also need accuracy and agility. If a regular person tries to do this... he'll get grabbed by the shirt and then choked out, if fighting a LEGITEMATELY unstable opponent. It's likely that you'll miss. But again, it's inspiring for a fictional choreography so I give it a high rating! It's rather useless IRL though. 3:13 Great thought. The kicks sound interesting and the Front Thrust Kick seems rather useful but in a street fight you wanna be fast and effective. You wanna end it rather quickly, not get your opponent angrier so he/she swings harder. Plus, this kick is not inevitable, the opponent can grab the leg if he/she calculates the grab correctly. He/she can take a few steps back and gra the leg. Fun Fact: The Front Thrust Kick is also a move in WWE2K19 and it's probably my favourite strike there because it's useful af for combos! 5:50 I've reviewed this before. The feinting is risky and anyone can do it! Some cocky assholes use it in fights too as far as I know. But the reason why it's risky is because not everyone falls for it, it can set yourself up for a punch to the face if the opponent is too focused and aggressive! Plus, I don't think it will make the move less telegraphed if not done accurately enough. 6:40 This is too flashy. Again, if the opponent just wants your face on his fist... the moment you prepate to spin, you're gonna have a bleeding nose. Also, you leave your groin open if fighting a mobile opponent, who walks around preparing to kick. But the most important thing you have to worry about if you plan on using this move is the punch to the face. You leave your hands low and you can hardly block or even dodge if all you're thinking is "IMMA SPIN!! 360 TIME!!". 7:23 You're open for a backfist at the back of the head which would damage you a lot! Also, the punch to the face... 8:36 Good but not everyone is that fast and not every street fighter is as strong as you. Someone big would not be stopped by the hand grab because his strike will have lots of force! Also, the opponent can immidiately grab your hands and do some Aikido stuff. A agile person like you would win a fight easier by dodging and hitting once he finds an opening, which is one of the principles of the art of striking as far as I know. 9:00 Ok WHAT ON EARTH!? You cover both sides of your head! Will the opponent NOT go for a punch STRAIGHT TO THE FACE!? OR A MUAY THAI KNEE STRIKE? We were going somewhat good until here! This is where you just change the principles of street fighting in order to glorify Kung Fu self defense!? 9:11 While you grab the opponent by the back of the neck... your ribs are open! HE can jam you in the ribs and cut your breath an then jam you in the face! "Once the wrestler grabs the boxer it's over" so so untrue! The boxer can punch the torso you know! 10:02 If you've read until here, look at the partner's arm in this bit. He's in the right stance for a punch and Jake is in the right stance to recieve it! The moves are not bad overall (even though the last one is terrible!) and I don't want to seem too harsh like others that comment on your videos but you seem to think that street fighters are clumsy. Some are but they are actually aggressive overall and overconfidence doesn't necessarily affect one's aggression. Again, I'm no expert, anyone who wants to refeud my points in welcome to do so! Nice video overall though.

Is there anything like an Iron face or iron jaw Kung Fu? Oh wait, ill just throw a spinning elbow, cause everyone knows that spinning shit works great
@kirvin22 жыл бұрын
Another option with the two handed Bird style block is to not jam it up by closing the distance. Stop the round punch for just a moment then use both hands to pass the punching hand under and to the side with enough force to take your opponent off balance and you on your opponents outside. As soon as your opponent is off balance punch the ribs and head. This way you don't take any chances of getting hit if you put yourself in your opponents outside.
