Sir please please read this.. I'm feeling helpless.. So we broke up more than a year .. But we had off and on contacts.. Sometimes I reach out to him.. Sometimes he reachs out to me even when I strictly told them not to contact.. He talks like he still have feelings for.. He literally makes sure that I believe he loves me still.. But again he is not taking any step for relationship..3 months of gap then again talking.. It's just like a circle.. But this time the situation is little different.. He is in college but I'm still preparing for medical entrance exam.. So there in college he started seeing a girl.. He said he is confused where to choose me Or her, because he is not moved on yet..he has feelings for me..But then he confess that he is going to move on this time after that he is going to be with her.. OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!! This is exactly my situation, i felt you just described my breakup and the reason behind it word by word. Perfect relationship, all limits physically and emotionally reached, limerence over. Suddenly one day out of the blue she broke up, every time she gives some excuse i show her the reality and logic, she jumps to another excuse which contradicts her own statements or just avoids the conversation. Talking to her feels like she has just taken a decision she is very adamant about and just doesn’t want to listen to truth or reality. Says there is no reason, only says she lost feelings. Or maybe... one of her friends wants you..... remember also, you have no idea what she was complaining to them about you. It is a heady feeling to be found desirable by others, and i can see why she likes to go out and party, but stability is attractive too. I think if you develop yourself, work out, ask a hairdresser to recommend a new haircut, and trusted women, aunt, sister to help you find fitted casual clothes and nicely tailored professional clothes. Consider taking classes in public speaking and other subjects that help you project strong self-confidence that stability offers. Stay true to yourself, stability is attractive to someone who has daddy issues. Her partying sounds like chaos. I'm not sure she is healthy for you, but I know you are healthy for her.

Yea. Dated my ex for 8 months. She lived 3 hours away. Drove to her every other weekend, she met my son. Treated him like her own, even her aunt, uncle and cousins said they’ve never seen her so happy before. Then she ended it up FaceTime when she went back home. My ex when on a journey of intense NLP , Hipnosis and transdental training , to become a NLP Hipnosis mid set coach , which is great , however it left out relationship in pieces with a strong belief that something better was out there for her . I was no longer good enough and need to level up to be like her new peers .. after months and months of this brain washing I no longer knew this person . The relationship was over .. I could no longer fight for it to work , so I’ve let her have the break up she wanted .. I don’t know if their any possible chance it could recover , however I realise that there is process that she will go through and I’m sure she will see … she has been chasing rainbows 🌈 and the grass isn’t greener on the other side .. My girlfriend of 1 year 1 month broke up with me suddenly out of nowhere when everything seemed like it was going well. Her excuse was her family doesn't approve of me which is true because I'm 9 years older than her , But we were honestly going really strong and basically living together for close to 3 months (alternating and staying at each others houses). It really hurt but I respected her wishes and I never reached out to her after the break up. About 3 weeks (yesterday) passed of absolutely no contact and she blew up my phone at work and texted and called me about 20 times in the span of 6 hours, Begging if we could see each other and talk because her life took a turn for the worse after we stopped talking. She started hanging out with the wrong crowd at work (young party crowd) and she said her life was getting very negative and she had no support and no one to lean on. We spent the night at her house and we honestly we're very respectful that night with each other, Nothing intimate happen other than hugging and hand holding. This is where I wanna know if I was too straight forward, Today being the next day we had decided to see each other at her house again after work. When I showed up I could tell she was very nervous but I tried breaking the ice and offered to help fix her shower rod which was loose and kept falling off and I managed to get it tightened. She started to seem more like herself and we talked normally, Eventually she brought up how she didn't want me to misunderstand what was happening and that none of this meant that we were a couple again. She started telling me how she only reached out to me for friendship because its what she needs right now and that we weren't going to go past that. Because she enjoys being single apparently. I flat out told her "You know what, If you and I aren't a couple I quite frankly want nothing to do with you, I honestly wish you the best but I'm not here to be your friend." She tried to resist a bit but I gave her my pov of the situation and she got dead silent and pouty, I walked out of her house and here I am typing all this out wondering if I was too point blank.

I wanted to add an update, She tried really hard to maintain or keep a friendship with me during the next 2 weeks or so. Whenever we ran in to each other at work (different departments) she would try to make small talk but I would absolutely ignore her like she didn’t exist to me. She at first got angry and would make me out to be the bad guy that I would ignore her because she wanted no relationship with me (wouldn’t reply to her messages). She then got kinda down and started asking me why I couldn’t ever see her as a friend if we got along so well. Did I hate her? Did she do something wrong? Eventually it got to the point where she would message me sweet things like how she missed the little things I did like make sure she ate breakfast by cooking for her in the mornings or how I would buy her medicine without asking because I would notice she was coughing or sneezing. She even mentioned how I would always know she was cold by the way she stands so I would remove my sweater and wrap it around her in public. She told me she wanted to try again but we needed to take it slow because she feels like we moved really fast within a year of being together. I think she got scared because she’s never wanted kids, But eventually she started talking about having kids together and what their names would be. So about a little over a month we broke up we started seeing each other again. I can’t say things are perfect but they seem alright at the moment. At the end of the day I am 32 and she’s 23 so I think that scares her. Well that’s about it folks, We back at it.

11 year marriage. Intimate 4 times a week for that time. Limerence and attraction right to the last week when the door slammed shut. Refusal to touch or hug intentionally forcing herself away. Booking international holidays and purchasing furniture for our home the week before. Purchased a 4 wheel drive , camping trailer and camping gear worth around $55 k. Everything appeared to be cruising. “I want to sell the house!” No explanation. No reasoning. Trying to reasonably work out what happened is just making it worse because there is no obvious trigger point. In my case she didn't break up with me. We are going out for 8 months. Although we had a really great time together, she made it clear she didnt want a serious relationship. I have a question. Is it considered to be a rebound after almost two months since the breakup. . We were together for 2.6 years and after 40 days of NC mutual friend told me that my ex showed up to the event wit his new GF. BUT he didn't delete our couple photos from Instagram. I don't even know what to think but it feels like I'm getting crazy and been living in a circus after the breakup

Limerence. I had that for years regarding an old girlfriend. Once I started going to see a counselor for trauma, it suddenly and finally disappeared after almost 40 years. I am sure the two have some relation psychologically.

After 3 year's now. I guess he thinks he found better. I can sleep good because I know I never hurt him at all. It saddens me that he could hurt me 3 time's. Just because he gets depressed and has other issues. I wish him the best. Would I like to run into him again? Yes but only if he's better than before.

So then what do you do in the instance your ex left to be back with their child's parent? I was in a situationship for 1 and 3 months with this woman. Initially, I called to walk away because her actions just weren't matching with her words. She'd say she'd want these things with me, but never really made the effort to make them happen. And I had this discussion more than once. Wonderful woman for the most part and I knew she cared for me and wanted what was best for me; it's just that when it came to making an actual commitment she would get cold feet. Was it relationship trauma, fear of the unknown, scared of being hurt, all of the above? Idk. I just know that it was easier for her to ultimately decide to go with one last try with her baby daddy to see if they can make it work for the sake of their son. Her son is about 15 months old, so he's practically still a new baby. It makes no sense to me whatsoever because she's choosing to be with a man that has historically been unable to commit to her for 7 years. They've been off/on for 7 years and this man has never once tried to propose. Even when his son was born, he didn't budge. So now all of a sudden you think that's going to change? Anyhow, she wanted me to stick around as a friend. Said she wanted me to remain in her life in some kind of capacity if not as her man. She would continue to reach out via text and sometimes I'd call to discuss what happened and how I felt betrayed. Till I just got sick of it and said to myself I'm not going to be sat on the bench while you make up your mind. I have more self-respect than that and you will not use me as a back-up plan in case things go awry with this guy. I told her look, since we didn't officially commit to each other, it's not like you left me to be with him. But it was still foul how you wasted my time. However, if things don't work and you seek me out, maybe we can discuss trying to start over from scratch. But she's going to have to work that much harder to prove she wants to commit; because I'm not welcoming her back with open arms. But I also told her if you seek me out and I'm with another woman, you just lost out and that's a decision you'll have to live with. I'm not pausing my life and waiting on you. That's just not going to happen. We've been in no contact since 5/16/2023 and I have not reached out since. She did just reach out to me out of the blue last week on social media.
