Do you have any tips on how to memorize an opening like this? I'd like to practice it in real games, but by the time I've gotten an opponent that actually plays what's needed I've forgotten what to do in that position.
@alperfect9729
@alperfect9729 Жыл бұрын
I suggest play it on your own, you need to play for both side as black/white and think about possible moves, you can check lichess database about which move is played more often and regarding the popular moves+win rates you can even create your own variation. Don't forget sometimes even bad moves could be tricky so it's up to you study enough to the point where you're no longer blundering anything before applying in it to your real matches. you can create multiple studies for multiple variations on the board, good luck 🤞

1:27 Bishop to C5 is NOT a bad move. After bishop takes your king pawn you're in a world of hurt and can no longer castle.
@zorkchess
@zorkchess Жыл бұрын
Not really. That’s one of the worst moves. Just check the engine. Maybe taking the kings pawn works for u because ur 1000 Elo and it works for you, but otherwise, bishop to c5 IS a BAD move

The urusov goes for d4 instead of Nc3, sacrificing both center pawns to allow for traps and an active queen after 1. E4 E5 2. Bc4 Nf6 3. D4 Nxe4 4. Nf3 Exd4 5. Qxd4 Sure, you could transpose into this if you played d4 after Nxe4, but the lines showed in this video are completely different
