Very good video guys! I am a junior player and I hit flatter with 2 hander and a solid forehand (I am 6’5 so that’s prob why I hit flat a lot lol). I naturally hit pretty hard so my coach and I worked on developing variety in shots to mix up and throw off my opponent. I also shortened my swing over the last year to take time away. Basically I did what you guys said in this video and it worked like a charm for me. I see all these videos about heavy topspin and advanced strategy. I get topspin and technique is important but to be honest I win matches just by swinging naturally, not over thinking, and throwing in different shots as often as I feel. Really good channel and glad I found you guys.

My friend Carlos did this and he's now winning a lot. He is now playing the French Open and has done pretty well. He's hopefully going to win the French Open!!!

nice video - hitting all six parts of the court - so true , there are so many players who are great on the baseline but have trouble coming up to handle short angled shots ( eg inside the service box )

I tend to overhit in tournaments. Taking my time, relaxing through my shots, and loving the rally is a tough mental game!

I played with the number 35 of the nation, and they tend to hit hard with aggressive topspin. This strategy works some of the time, but they mostly just crush it.

Amateurs play mostly for fun. Pros do not play, but work tennis in order to earn money. Your tip is true of course, if the main goal is to win the match. It is nearly impossible for amateurs to win matches just with winners. This is even more so on clay. Pros practice every day.

But what if you're playing tennis for the enjoyment of destroying the ball and not for results? 😬

This is my game! People hate it. They say that iim not playing tennis! They always ask the guys who hit hard to be on teams , never me. I make them look like beginners. They say, "Oh, that win doesn't count. Lol. Their teams never win regionals. It's the same guys for 20 years still loosing!

taking the ball on the rise is always risky because of tricky timing. it is a great feeling though when it works.
@Playyourcourt3 жыл бұрын
It certainly can be tricky but with time and practice it gets much easier. There's always some situations however where it can be a daunting task. Thanks for the feedback and for watching!

Nobody is playing these weak balls back. They are all looking to hurt you, even on a low players level. I would really Like to meet an opponent playing that soft balls you guys show here,

Ok cool stuff but the grunting is a bit much. You guys start grunting right off the bat. Yeesh…. 😬 You’re not lifting weights .

Just doing our best Rafa impersonations 😉 It's super amplified with the mics being so close to our mouths, promise we're not grunting that loudly. (Immediately reviewing other vids to see if we grunt that loudly) 😬
