I have been a stay at home mom of 3 for over 16 years! I’m going to tell you your baby will grow up and you will have more time for KZbin yourself sooner than you think. Enjoy and take this time with him. They really do grow sooo fast.

Totally feeling you with the “I want to be a mom more than I want to work” statement. I have been a super career goal woman my whole life and then I had my daughter 15 months ago and went back to work 3 months ago. I still enjoy my work, but the enthusiasm I had wasn’t there anymore and I also don’t have any time for all the extra stuff I used to do with work. I just want to be with my baby and wonder what she’s doing and how she’s changed while I was out because she changes soooooo fast! Thank goodness for photos and videos to capture everything!

I have to say, I was so worried about putting my baby in nursery, but I had to to keep my job basically, but I did go down to part time hours. In all honesty, nursery has been AMAZING for him. His social skills developed, he has the BEST time, and I genuinely see him progressing so much faster. So even part time, I think you'll find that while it'll be useful for you, it'll also be really useful for him. I guess in your case, it'll also make him bilingual? haha. unless you find an english daycare!

We might not have messaged you, but definilty missed your vlogs. If I was in your shoes, I would also look into daycare (some of the time). Not only for you being able to work, but also for the sake of baby-atlas. Becoming a little bit more "independant", bonding with others, socializing with other children, getting in some Japanese words/talk already (I assume?). But it´s of course always a question of will it work positively for both the child and the family. My own mom worked part time when I was a small child and I went some hours or some days to a creative, musical, outdoor childcare with rather few children. I think that was a great choice - I actually have vivid memories from that time, eventhough I was so young when I went. I think that testements to the fact, that it was a great experience.
